    Mine was 80 bucks shipped.put a 30 dollar loaded pickguard,bone nut,new strings.tighten hardware, level frets ,it a rock machine.i really like the lightweight of the glarrys.i didn't care much for the thick neck.i wish they had put the same thin neck as their burning fire model.i ended up shaving down the neck.

  • @gamer6550

    I got mine when they were still 80 bucks. First thing I did was get new strings, 9 gauge were to light and wouldn't hold tune, switched to 10 gauge and it was much better. After I set the action & intonation it played real good, I even took it to the bar on open mike night.. My only complaint was the weak pickups compared to my SG, LP, And even my Yamaha Pacifica. I sold it a couple of months ago for 90 bucks so I broke even. I may even buy another Glarry guitar in the future, the blue strat with the skulls looks pretty cool.. Have a great day my friend

      I bought some stuff to upgrade it, as soon as I get the time I’m going to try to refinish the neck and see if a few mods can make it a little better. It’s not a bad guitar for the money but it needs a little work. Thanks!

    I bought the thinking tele & a white glarry strat with a Wilkinson pickup upgrade ,had to remove the bridge on both guitars redrill the holes dowel both & redrill in the correct position,after that they both sound great! If you buy a cheap guitar you're gonna have to work on it & there's is everything on Google to help you!

    Nice vid! I just bought this guitar from Temu of all places. It was $33 w/free shipping. I was getting it figuring to mod it and yep that was what has to happen. I usually build partscasters for people and charge $300 or less for my customers. This Glary model that i have is in red and looks great w/rosewood board. What NEEDED replaced was pretty much everything except the neck, strap buttons, output jack plate ,pickguard and back plate. The pickup lead wires are not soldered to grommets, the wires are soldered DIRECTLY to the pickup winding wire under the tape. be sure to handle them gently. I would never use these pups on any guitar i am selling. So for $33 i got a red body and a decent neck i can mod out with Wilkinson pups and hardware and have a decent sounding inexpensive guitar.

    I recently upgraded my Squire Affinity Strat with a loaded pickguard, so I just ordered one of these (in green) to put the old Affinity loaded pickguard into. I imagine it'll sound pretty good with Squier electronics. I'm gonna mod the crap out of it. Already ordered roller string trees and I'll probably get a new nut. I'm also thinking about locking tuners for the Squire, so my GST will get the Squier tuners.

    I'm a beginner guitarist and I have this exact Glarry guitar. I'm planning on saving money for a pre wired HSH pickguard because I like heavier music and don't like my bridge pickup, it's the driest one and doesn't have a good sound, hell even this video shows it

    Glarry does make a great guitar for the price, but if there's any 2 things they're known for, it's chunky necks and minor surface flaws. All Glarrys need to be set up. as the factory does absolutely none. They put the guitar together, wind some strings on it, and box it. However the intonation on the bridge was set from its factory is how it's going to come.

    I would have to say, to really see the quality and how the send their guitars out from the factory, I would say you should have purchased this guitar from Walmart or other retail outlet that won't tend to clean it up and adjust out the not so good parts to give it a good review

      It’s an ok guitar, it functions and sounds decent for the price. You’ll probably want to upgrade it some though, especially the tuners. The biggest warning I can give you is the neck feels pretty rough compared to something like a Squier, but for $30 it’s a working guitar. Hope this helps!

  • @gregweber3387

    You know I think if you're going to sell a beginner guitar, it needs to be pretty decent out of the box. I've got 2 Epiphone acoustics (Starling and DR-100). Both were excellent right out of the box. Nice low action and fun to play. I wasn't impressed with this at all. 👎 I'm looking for my first electric and was looking mostly at Squiers; but also the Yamaha Pacifica PAC012 as I've seen some very favorable reviews.

    I have a good Question ❓ I have watched a ton of these videos on reviews, but none have said wheather or not they have a serial number on the Glarry products,, So can you answer this question for all of us?

    • @Etherian87

      It's a super cheap, Chinese built, CNC'd then straight out of the factory guitar... Why would you think it would have a serial number 😂😂😂

    This guitar reminds me of the $79 Harley Benton ST20 that I bought that I wish I didn't. From the looks of things it may be the same guitar with a different name and paint job only major difference is that your Glarry looks to be better when it comes to quality control, believe it or not. My HB is as I tell my wife and others " is a very expensive piece of firewood". I may be a beginner but even beginners can recognize something that isn't too well made. It seems that these really inexpensive budget guitars vary so dramatically from item to item that on another you tube channel the person has a Glarry for a wall decor because he doesn't want to even play it because to him it was so disappointing. You would think that if a company asks you if you would want to do a review on their product they would go above and beyond to make sure the item you recieve is as close to perfect in every which way. I wonder what a person would get if they order one from Amazon, how would the quality and craftsmanship be on that one?

    • @onemoreguitarchannel
      @onemoreguitarchannel  2 года назад +2

      I’m glad they don’t do special treatment for the channels (at least I hope they don’t!) because I want to know what the end user is getting. I can’t imagine they did anything special to this one, out of the box this guitar was hard to enjoy but at this point I’m actually excited to upgrade it. The body, neck, and pickups are good enough to build on. I’m going to order some parts and see how good I can make it. You’re right about the variation in some of these affordable guitar manufacturers. This is the only Glarry I’ve tried so I don’t know how consistent they are.

    • @hwnfrd
      @hwnfrd 2 года назад

      @@eddiejr540 You're exactly right about that, I too learned my lesson from my Harley Benton experience. No matter how enticing the price may be, I only stick with the reputable name brands. I don't see it as I've saved $700 not buying a Fender but rather I've wasted $79 on a piece of garbage.

      @@onemoreguitarchannel What's funny is that a lot of guitars that you have reviewed I would mention on how there is no lefty version so I'm out of luck.
