D Searcy our average speed was 16.0 mph. We did only the 52.1 route. Our moving time was 3:15:38 and our elapsed time was 3:41:18 due to restroom & nutrition breaks. There was only 2,454 ft of climbing so it was relatively flat with just a few small climbs and a few rollers here and there. This ride we did it in 2015 and in 2016 we rode the big kahuna century ride instead and got rained on. Either routes are worth doing and were very enjoyable.
Thank you for your reply. If your interested, please visit this link www.generosity.com/medical-fundraising/cycling-to-find-a-cure/x/9070140 to see why I ride. I'm signed up for the ride in San Diego next month and I'm hoping to bring more awareness to Rett Syndrome. This will be my second ride EVER! Thanks again...

What kind of a Gran Fondo is this? Riding along with traffic and no signs and a riders are confused. Very poorly organized.
