I have fell in love with this band. Thank you Austin City Limits!!!!! I absolutely love this band, their style and her voice...rich soulful.. this is my first time hearing rock/blues and I fell in love...I cant thank you ACL enough!!! Tedeschi Trucks I love you!!!
I was there that night at ACL. Then I followed them to Chicago Theater on State Street, Chicago. Heavenly Father, please send them back to Austin or Chicago.
When I saw these guys for the first time at Clapton's Crossroads concert, it was the first time in decades a new musical group had come along that got me excited. Have been to a couple of their concerts and I see a lot of younger folks (I'm 67) but also a lot of people about my age who probably feel the same as me. They're just magic; great musicians, great chemistry, and they keep getting better. I think they're a once in a generation group, and I've gotta thank them for bringing me and a lot of other old farts like me back to the game.
I had the same experience of being blown away by this mob. Back in 2012 I read a 5-star review of their 'Everybody's Talkin'' album and bought it blind. Stunning! Been an out and out fan ever since and I, too, am of your vintage. You see all ages at their concerts and everyone wears a smile like a split melon. Sadly, we don't get them down here in the Antipodes very often but, once seen and heard, you'll never forget a moment. Cheers.
PCT Forest Technology . She grooves like a groovin' trooper and has that groove and dirty raw soul written all over her face. I am finding myself drawn to her as well. Big Love
It is like ABB is just so good, it will carry on generation after generation and still be able to play the same songs and make them fresh every time. Somewhere a guy named Duane is smiling...
Love this band. Just saw them on ACL and the instrumentation alone was rockin'. Plus, her voice is like that of Bonnie Rait. Could get some flack about that, but that's what I hear.
+Brenda Wilcher I never listened to bonnie rait until I went to one TTB's concerts and a fan told me how similar they were. I listen to a lot of rait's music now
+Brenda Wilcher No you should not get flack about that, that was then, this is now . Susan has a great voice this is a great band . I think you are right on!!
David Jones do yourself a favor and go. Was lucky enough to see them for the first time in my hometown of Wilmington NC at a small 1,200 person capacity amphitheater. Awesome night
Does Susan do all the singing.I remember her from a guitar world interview in the 80$,and Kenny Wayne Sheppard, and Derek Trucks, they were all comin' out around the same time, but I was into the 80$ scene Motley Crue Ratt,Whitesnake,I never gave any of them a chance, mann.what was missing, they really sound good together, before I left Las Vegas I read another great interview with them about thier new band and that was in 2010 when they put that together,I was like Mann..there's no money in recording vinyl,so your gonna have to do it at home, then take it on the road, it's not like the 80$ when people bought your record or cd and played it to death everyday,This internet done killed the music industry,Metallica was right to fight, and now look,I didn't understand what the fuss was about but now I do, I'm glad I got out in time..
Album is great. She can sing her rear off! She has that nice rasp that makes her sound so soulful. Beautiful. And as a HUGE ABB fan, I understand just how crazy good DT is.Saw their show 10/30 at Mohegan Sun in CT. I was so disappointed. They're a 12 pc band with two drummers and horn section. That could/should be nice. Let's face it, Tedeschi Trucks is Susan. Derek's great that's true, but most are there to hear her sing, and enjoy his playing behind her, as well as the rest of the band.Terrible. Instead of hearing her sing with the nice horn section behind her and accenting her, along with some good sharp drumming, and nice understated guitar fills where needed, all combined to make a pleasant sound (like the album), we just heard 12 people trying to outplay each other. At times it was nothing more than absolute ear splitting noise. We left early with quite a few others doing the same. Susan, if you read these, take your show back. You're the star, not them.
RIP Kofi you will be missed, my friend!!
I love the interaction between the drummers. The bass player is fantastic. Well, they are all amazing musicians.
I have fell in love with this band. Thank you Austin City Limits!!!!! I absolutely love this band, their style and her voice...rich soulful.. this is my first time hearing rock/blues and I fell in love...I cant thank you ACL enough!!! Tedeschi Trucks I love you!!!

Keep on getting knowledge. You'll be happy. I promise!!!
Wow! Where have I been?! 😮
What a great version. So glad to be able to see this on You Tube.

They are a great band, I've seen them 5 times now. Always a new and different show!
Music is always food for my soul...thank the gods
Sweet, love these guys ... bummed I missed this show, probably the best stage in Austin outside the club circuit. And real music !
Yes. Derek is a divine slide player but I love it when he does some straight blues soloing, you know?
What an incredible show!
I am secretly in love with that trombone player. Great musician and cute!
PCT Forest Technology . She grooves like a groovin' trooper and has that groove and dirty raw soul written all over her face. I am finding myself drawn to her as well. Big Love
Great. Happy to see TTB live in Grollo Niederlande - at the Holland International Blues Festival in June 2016.

Like Bonnie in that it's soulfully feminine and strong, emotionally available and confidently focused all at the same time. I'd agree with that!
Ayeeeeee! I love this song!
amazing!!!
hartford ct july 6th baby. saw them last year and blew me away!! cant wait!!!
This is so CLASSIC.
Absolutely !!!
I was there.!!
Was für eine BigBand, Gitarre, Bläser, Baggroundsänger und Susan, aber vor allen der Mann an der Hammondorgel, das Beste seit Jimmy Smith.
Wow!
I like this song. Would love to see a little more Melvin Seals in the keyboard playing - to just take it all the way up.
Hilarious. I had completely forgotten I’d ever seen this. I had the EXACT same reaction and then saw my own comment.
Those drummers are just gitty
I still have yet to see this band!!!!😑
David Jones do yourself a favor and go. Was lucky enough to see them for the first time in my hometown of Wilmington NC at a small 1,200 person capacity amphitheater. Awesome night

Your totally wrong.
Were you dropped on your head as a kid? Way off! This band is the best as a group and has made Susan better for that!
You couldn't be more wrong.
Not much of a singer.
Are you an idiot
