One weakness I can see in the design is the chute direction arm. It looks flimsy & difficult to turn. Not sure if angle is too high from operator seated position or if the steel shaft is just too long for the thickness of steel & it wobbles easily. Hope that makes sense. Other wise, throws snow great!

aj12271 I can understand where you would think that, however after using this set up for 2 winters I can honestly say it moves very easily and we have not had any issues with this. We keep it in an unheated building and maintain the equipment. We have been very pleased with performance.

Have had mine since 2014. AJ you are right with the chute direction arm. You pretty much gotta use 2 arms to turn that chute. One to support the rod the other to turn it.
The shut up/down never worked for me day one, so I normally just let it buck.
The belts you'll be changing more than one should. ANY SEASON.
For a single stage. It does move the snow. Faster than I can plow it with the ATV. (Wind rows) . March and April snow tends to be wet and you'll better slow down, that chute does get plugged up fast. No sheer bolts, so your week spot is normally the belt. If it cant handle it, it'll bog down and kill the machine at times. Better than it breaking.
I have 3 attachments on mine. Mower, snow blower, and flail (knuckle knife light brusher)..
Summer seasons it does pretty good with my wetter grounds I have here.
      Rating happiness..

      Give it a 7.5
The changing of belts gets old and yeh I've had it in the shop to see if it was lined correctly.
      Rating it.

Can you come off the seat and it will still idle or it shuts off due to safety switches tx

There is a safety switch in place if you come off the seat during operation, however if you have the machine idling with the brake on (without blade or auger engaged) you will be able to step off the tractor while it continues to idle.
