Old age also plays hell with your bowels but I beg you - don't ever tell a story about that. I am thrilled to hear you do a story set in Wisconsin - or God's severed left hand as we fondly call it. The strangest states are hard to pinpoint but I would nominate Wisconsin and Kentucky as our heavyweights. Two beautiful states filled with beauty and wonderful people and more weirdness than you can shake a pointed stick at.

Ahoy, author here. Fun fact. The story is indeed an amalgamation of Wisconsin and Kentucky. One is my home state so I lean in on it a bit.
