Ford had been sandbagging and managed to get away with cheating on BOP so they had the fastest car in the 2016 Le Mans race. They probably only got away with it because it was their 50th anniversary for winning and their great comeback to Le Mans. BOP seems great at the moment in the GTE classes but BOP failed in 2016. Corvette is usually doing well in IMSA and at Le Mans and are well known for their beautiful sounding machines although Porsche has pulled ahead on both sound and speed at the moment.
