Imagine it's 2011, you watch the livestream and live one of the most important races in the automotive world, now imagine it's 2022, 11 years later!!! And you see this, I'm glad this wasn't a lost media, like a lot of live videos happens At least I'll be able to enjoy something that happened over a decade ago with my Eurobeat playlist. Simply a masterful combination
Puts it into perspective when about 8 minutes in you think you're going really fast through the Porsche Curves.....then an LMP car just blows by like you're not even there.
It's really a marvel of engineering, these cars. Run for 24 hours straight, flat out, as hard as they can be driven, and they just do the damn thing. What a great sound from this throaty LS engine.
WOW this video is Hipnotic. Constant V8 bellow. Thanks for upload Very very much man. I chrono laps 4.02 - 4.04 - 4.05 pretty consistent. And from 4 mins of a lap 2m521sec is at WOT so 70% of time the engine is delivering. The shifting is proper racing fast, so much difference in time compared to a street manual. Altough I like old school and non coputerized tech, an automatic transmission has to complete the Corvette streetcar performance. My taste, for smoothness and suveran take-off-Planetary
1-win lottery! 2-training 3-watch the lemans in france 4-training 5-get a badass corvette, race in lemans, kick ferrari ass and win the trophy!!! 6- doing it for the rest of my life!!!
You don't have to like the vette but you have to respect it and what it has done since it has began racing and I love the vettes (coming from a mustang guy) just saying
Jan Magnussen crashed out on the 211th lap while he was driving the no. 74 Corvette. The no. 73 Corvette of Beretta/Milner/Garcia won the LMGTE Pro Class, and finished 11th overall.
@200kmproducoes Nice driving man! Cool car too! a sequential shift though huh? wow, thats expensive. my friend was looking for one for his porsche 993 racecar he was building, said it would cost 30000 to get one that was worthy for his application! great vid though, and ill try to post more, takes a lot of time to upload though...
the most outstanding engine bellow on Le Mans I very much doubt that the drivers of the vette needs any assistance in the business of staying sharp due to that heavy bass
Maaaan...after watching several rounds of FIA GT1 series, I believe that the pass [if not battle] with the Ford GT @ 3:01:15 would have been a more evenly matched spectacle [ in GT!, that is ;-) ] would have really loved to see these 2 legendary marks duke it out within 16ths of inches lllol!
Well yeah at that particular race. But Magnussen's Corvette won its class at the 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2009 Le Mans races. Also what are the mechanical differences between the Team Corvette cars (because this might not be the exact car but it is the kind of car he is driving)?!? At the very least could you just leave my national pride alone? It's already taking a pouding because of our new prime minister ("lovingly" called Gucci Helle).
Return regularly for the soothing sounds of that V8
Same here lol
Back again..
Back again..
Back again🎉
@@Tibirium295 I am here again..
No talking just engine purring. Just how I like it.
Purring, more like roaring but still glorious.
Anthony Keightley
Roaring? More like Hammering. Muscle essence, by Chevrolet. The new fragrance.
Martijn Kösters Now that would be worth buying.
I could hear that all day and night
Best GT sound

This is sooothing. It helps me fall asleep :)
Vette sounds awesome

the sound actually disconnects you from the outside world. It is just you and the car. pitch perfect!!!
I watched this whole video and that was more fun to watch than any other way to watch. thanks.
2:53:00 - the Audi shoots past, followed by the Pugs in pursuit
Cam Noble that was like finding a needle in a haystack
Just watching it so awesome
Best play list on RUclips. Music never sounded so good
I’ll never forget watching this live. It was unreal.
Oh man, corvette sounds awesome
Omg, brutal!! 😭 the sound is brutal and beautiful 😭💕
That Vette sounds very mean and brutal, but I love the sound of it. Listening to this for 4 hours straight is a true pleasure.
Thats the real sound of thunder, better than any of todays cars
awesome. i'd like to see all 6 4hr segments, start to finish. might take me 2 days to watch it all, though. thanks for posting!
thx the upload _o_
That Panoz sound was INCREDIBLE!!!!! O__O
Kei
Just listening to this is totally intoxicating!
Really clean and costant driving.. and this sound 🤩
Right now I'm writing a paper, and Pandora keeps giving me crappy music, so I'm turning on this 4 hour masterpiece.
Awesome video love that noise. Still amazing how fast the Audis and Pugs come past though.
seeing that sunrise is brilliant!
'MURICA
But boy, does this sound good at le Mans
So?
Mate, I just think it sounds good.

A really awesome yellow Chevrolet Corvette Racecardream!!!🏁🏁😍😍👍👍🇺🇲🇺🇸
The C6.R will always be one of my favorite GT1 Class cars! My most favorite is the Ford GT Matech GT1 Class….
This is the best sound motor ever, pure hard racing. Have fun now guys for while because future motors will be electric.
I could watch this all day. Oh, wait - I do, every June!
Hell yeah! I remember watching this live on SPEED
You know, ever since i was young i have always pictured myself in race car. Good old days..
thats the sound I need to study... 1000x better than classical music!
4 hours listening to a Corvette C5R is awesome
Pure ASMR right here, especially the pits
this is a great video ma thank a lot pure moment of race
BEAUTIFUL!!
This is by far the best song I´ve ever heard! Does anybody know, if this 8-Cylinder-Band goes on Tour in 2019?
Possibly, they won the Weathertech IMSA championship. C8 will supposedly be next season
Always nice to listen to Jan Magnussen's company car (yes that is the Dane bringing the Corvette to victory in its class at 24 Hours of Le Mans).
Incredible
Oktober 29. iRacing Le Mans 24h. We will start with Corvette C6. Learn from this video, thanks mate!!!
1:26:20 little mistske. But nice sound from engine start to full throttle😍
Simply way better than any symphony
That V8 is a monster..the shaker
The V8 sound is awesome the le mans prototype cars are also awesome
1-win lottery!
2-training
3-watch the lemans in france
4-training
5-get a badass corvette, race in lemans, kick ferrari ass and win the trophy!!!
6- doing it for the rest of my life!!!
I literally fall asleep to this
A true American. 🇺🇸💪🏼
Even in the sleepy morning hours, it took 3 helpers just 35 seconds to get to the car and help him back on the road at 1:26:30, damn, good work ppl!
still awesome _o_
This is artwork
a dream
1:26:20 Error
oh and thanks for the video!!!
@XTC4rava Safety car is out I think? They have to wait for it to come past.
beautiful!!
MY GOD! that noice! is bloddy amazing!
4 hours of video! YAY!
Best sound at Le mans
@ 2:51.20, you can see the smoke from him locking up entering the cabin, that's not something you see on a street car
Panoz engines (GT-R ; Hybrid & LMP) were awesome too.
I got excited as hell when he passed that ferarri around 14:40
le mans surely there is no other track to compare for guys with bigger balls there is the epic isle of mann - high powered motorbike heaven and hell
2:27:12 why three cars stop in the end of pitstop and turn off engines?
i dosed off listening to this haha, love it, wish my vette had the sequential, 06-up can get it, mine's 05 :( still fun tho!!
You don't have to like the vette but you have to respect it and what it has done since it has began racing and I love the vettes (coming from a mustang guy) just saying
1:35:44 you don't hear the diesel come - but accelerating ^^
Is that the af corsa defeating ahead?
do you know what the site is? i want to watch this edition but tv is not diffusing it
engine sound fucking good
Sounds almost as good as the GTS and GT1 Corvettes use to do
bon boulot ta video!!
My kind of ASMR.
Was it free to watch le mans live on a computer?
Look at that sound! It could be a pain to drive it, 24 HOURS!!!
Nah...they change drivers every few hours
cant belive they lowerd the hp from 600 to 500
Jan Magnussen crashed out on the 211th lap while he was driving the no. 74 Corvette. The no. 73 Corvette of Beretta/Milner/Garcia won the LMGTE Pro Class, and finished 11th overall.
Anyone know what's powering this beast - LS7 or LS3?
It's a bespoke 5.5 V8 made only for the C6R GT2.
The older C6R GT1 had an LS7.
Engine sound's feels good.
Dat sound..
i recorded the whole video with videocacheviewer....man that crazy race i love it!!!!
Damn straight!
@200kmproducoes

Does this count as ASMR now?
yes.. espn3.com, i use it to watch all alms races and the LM 24 hrs and countless other european series
the corvette sounds and is awesome - but those le mans prototype machines - LMP - are insanely faster
engine purrs like a big lion
the most outstanding engine bellow on Le Mans
I very much doubt that the drivers of the vette needs any assistance in the business of staying sharp due to that heavy bass
How that gt2 m3 can be faster than gt1 corvette?
Because the GT1 class no longer existed in 2011. Corvette started building a GT2 spec Corvette in 2009 and started racing it in the 2009 ALMS season.
58:40
74 crashed out while trying to overtake another GT car in the Porsche Curves, and caught up that other car in the crash too.
الحمدلله على السمع والأبصار والافئده.
Praise be to Allah for sight, hearing and heart.
while the top class of 24hrs passes a gt car you can only stand in awe......
is this actually four hours long.. if so damn its nasty
The race itself is actually 24hrs long.
3:44 things really start to get crazy
Well yeah at that particular race.

@A7H7M7E7D You said it man, I could watch this whole video!!
That looks like 200 Mph to me on the long parts.
