Rayman and Funky Kong, as of now, are no longer included in this mod and the clips showcasing them have been cut. This is the first ever mod I have made myself for smash remix, and for being a first mod, I'm pretty proud of it. I need to fix a few noticeable errors, such as the malloc issue (corrupted textures) for the characters on the character select menu. Aside from that, the mod is playable and crashes are somewhat minimal. Also, Richter and Simon's chain whips are stiff as a board at the moment because I am unsure how to give them joints. I also don't know .asm code well enough to give them their down specials. Simon and Richter were modeled and animated from scratch by me. Sounds for Simon and Richter, aside from the announcer, were used from Smash Ultimate.

Just learned of this mod but wow! Incredibly fun looking stuff so far! The Simon model absolutely fits that classic 64 style, you captured it perfectly imo, keeping enough detail in a simple way that makes it feel authentic! Love that he has that classic stride too, and Richter looks so cool too, love his taunt and ko lines! Awesome stuff!

Thanks Obsolete! As a Castlevania fan I always wanted to see Simon and Richter in Smash Remix and thanks to you they are there, and I really like that you put the detail of each character like Simon's bed which is based on the way he walks in NES Castlevania, and Richter's poses which are faithful to the original poses and I really hope you finish this patch, and one thing I would like to ask would be to put some animations on Vampire Killer because in this demo she looks like a cane and if you make updates to the patch over time, I would like you to put some skins like Simon's Design from Castlevania Chronicles or Richter's Design in Symphony Of The Night, I would really like that!

i think the whip should be made out of multiple small 2D spiky balls. i think that would help animate the whip better. i would have also modeled the body after the Dragon King 3D model. i would have also tried to add Jago from Killer Instinct😄
This, look at how Samus' Grapple Beam or Link's Hookshot are animated, they're made up of individual 2D segments, this is the way to go.

Having Simon AND Richter in Smash 64 is like a dream come true, my only complaints is that their models are too cartoony, I think they'd look better with proportions closer to that of Captain Falcon. Also for the animations of the Vampire Killer I think taking inspiration from Samus' grapple beam is the way to go, you can see how it is animated like a whip when you use her back/forward throws, also it would be easier to animate the whip using the sprites from Castlevania as a basis instead of Ultimate imo.
I hope we can get versions in the near future that hold all or most of these recent mods. A lot of them fit so well and should have been in the game already.
You should try using a model of Reinhardt Schneider from Castlevania 64. I think it’d be way cooler to the see an N64 original character as the Remix Castlevania rep!

The mod is well done, hey obsolete you could add Waluigi in Smash Remix but the Mario Tennis 64 model would fit it well, well I don't know if you would add it along with the Piranha Plant it would be a great battle to see Luigi with the Mad Piano against Waluigi and the Piranha Plant even if you could add Waluigi in Smash Remix I don't want to spam but oh well greetings.

Solo puse Dragon King y Ebisumaru en la pantalla de selección de personajes como marcadores de posición para cuando agrego más personajes al mod. Simplemente pensé que se veía mejor que tener cuadros de selección vacíos. Sin embargo, terminé cambiando esto.

@@ReynagiselMontanohuaraqui What about the memory limitations? Is that possible to bypass now? Because last time I checked SR stopped at it's last version because that's all they could do with the ROM's storage

They do not have any costumes at the moment. They will have costumes later on in development.
