Been using this routine for the past 5months or so and it's been working very well for me😮🙌🏾 Guys this actually works.Thank you very much for this Marcus
I m from Bangladesh. I watch your videos. It's very helpful to overcome sluttering. My sluttering gets worse when i get nervous, feared and tensed. This is gradually ruining my life.
The fact that you made the video with no cuts in such a fluid way is proof that you are good. I asssume that you are recent on youtube, you just won a subscriber, good luck and I'll definitly check that free course out. Thank you!
Whoops didn’t mean to fool you lol there are definitely cuts in there. I try to minimize gaps and keep the videos and tight and fluid as possible since it is RUclips but I still appreciate the complement haha! Thanks for subscribing!
I agree that no matter what skill set you to want to improve you got to put in the work. I definitely have to check the course out since I am also trying to improve my fluency
I have been trying ur “stop stuttering workshop” for 3 days. There are two routines A&B,right? If I choose routine A, does that mean I no longer have to try the routine B?
Hi guys if you stumbled upon my comment and my previous comments in the comment section what I observed is we're linking that means connecting a bunch of words at once with shorter sentences is very similar to that passive exhale how's that you ask if you're different it's because when you passive Excel you're slowly releasing the words You're slowly letting out the breath I'm same applies with word linking when you were link You're slowly letting out the air while connecting words together I'm not sure it's a very weird phenomenon I may be wrong but please let me know what you guys think if I'm up to something or not
I know a guy that stuttered terribly, he joined the army and was a radio operator using Morse code, he said it cured his stuttering by the time he was out.
I was a stammer and I stopped stammering on 14th of August 2022. How did I do this? Here is it; Stammering is a state of the mind. We stammerers have over the years fed our minds with the thought of stammering. Our subsconcious mind has been so used to this dominating thought of stammering such that we stammer on autopilot. You open your mouth and your thought tells you that Mr you are going to stammer. Once you silence your thoughts and tell your mind that you are no longer a stammer; you’ll subdue that thought of stammering. When I was still a stammerer, I would see someone I know then my mind would remind me that Mr you are going to stammer. And I would surely stammer. This is how you tell your mind that you are no longer a stammer; Write down beside your bed and say this every morning and in the evening: I USED TO STAMMER BECAUSE I HAD LET THE THOUGHT OF STAMMERING DOMINANTE MY MIND. ONCE I KNEW THIS, I STOPPED STAMMERING ON 16TH OF AUG 2022. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO STAMMERING AGAIN AND WILL NOT ALLOW A THOUGHT ABOUT IT SLIP INTO MY SUBSCONCIOUS MIND AGAIN. SO MY MIND STOP REMINDING ME ABOUT STAMMERING BECAUSE THAT IS NOW MY PAST.
My 4.6 year old son is stammering.plz tell how to help him.i have not sent him to school because he might get insulted there.wat should I do shall I join him to school
Hi Marcus, your video's are really helpful, thanks for making them! I'm curious: how long did it take you with a daily routine to develop fluent speech? A few months or a year perhaps?
I’m so glad you’re finding them helpful! Thank you for the kind words. The trajectory for me was I reached around 90% fluency after 3 months of sticking with a routine, but then due to my lack of further motivation, I sort of slacked off a bit until I started to regress and then I would pick the routine back up again. I played that game for 3-4 years and the reason it was for that long was because I had already surpassed the 90% fluency mark and I wasn’t as desperate. so getting my fluency up to the 97-98% mark took much longer because I would get distracted with life. A key thing to add on top of your daily routine is also to continuously be proactive about putting yourself in more situations and environments to practice your new speech patterns, I didn’t do that very well for the first couple years and that’s also why I was stuck at the “mostly fluent” 90% mark for so long.
@@speakyourmindmethod Thank you for your comprehensive answer! Wow, I admire your tenacity, I can imagine it takes a while for your brain to get used to the new way of speaking and dealing with stuttering.
Hi there. Apologies for the delay. I stepped away from this channel for a few months. Yes exactly. Feel free to customize to your own life. Consistency is what matters more than anything else

Bro, What are the causes of stuttering or speech deficiencies? Are they physical or psychological?
Hi, can my 12 yr old son do the workshop himself? Or would I need to do it and then implement it with him?
I have an interview question. Can someone give good advice please?
I know a guy that stuttered terribly, he joined the army and was a radio operator using Morse code, he said it cured his stuttering by the time he was out.
That’s so interesting. I love that!
I was a stammer and I stopped stammering on 14th of August 2022.

Here is it;
Stammering is a state of the mind.
We stammerers have over the years fed our minds with the thought of stammering.
Our subsconcious mind has been so used to this dominating thought of stammering such that we stammer on autopilot.
You open your mouth and your thought tells you that Mr you are going to stammer.
Once you silence your thoughts and tell your mind that you are no longer a stammer; you’ll
subdue that thought of stammering.
When I was still a stammerer, I would see someone I know then my mind would remind me that Mr you are going to stammer. And I would surely stammer.
This is how you tell your mind that you are no longer a stammer;
Write down beside your bed and say this every morning and in the evening:
I USED TO STAMMER BECAUSE I HAD LET THE THOUGHT OF STAMMERING DOMINANTE MY MIND.
Congratulations on your journey. Great advice! Amazing what positive affirmations can do in all aspects of our lives.
Is that the only thing you did to stop your stuttering? Are there any facial exercises or meditation that u did?
Thank you

How do you stop
I assume it doesn't really matter when we do these things during the day? Like the relaxing excercises in the morning, the reading in the evening etc?
