- One of the 3 major mud volcanoes in Trinidad, L’Eau Michel Mud volcano is the most popular one to visit, simply because you can dive in and experience a floating sensation. You’ll have to drive/hike through agricultural lands, then a Teak (tree) forest along a gravel/dirt/muddy road to enjoy this natural phenomenon located in Bunsee Trace, off Penal Rock Road in south Trinidad…..Well my Trinbago peeps, lets go…
TIP 1: The volcano, towards the center is deep, regardless of the buoyancy of the main pool, so stay close to the edges of the mud pool.
TIP 2: Bring enough water if you have no intentions of hiking 30-45 minutes to the beach to wash off the mud.
TIP 3: Monitor the weather because this can change the conditions of the road
Tip 4: Be prepared to walk/hike between 1-2km if your vehicle can’t go any further on the road and Park appropriately if this is the case.
Tip 5: There is no restroom facilities, so be prepared to go “in the bush” if you need to go.
TIP 6: Whatever you bring to the mud volcano site, take it back with you. Leave only your memories behind, as no one cleans up the site on a regular basis
Tip 7: Keep hydrated and bring enough fluids to do so

Yes I love the video. Heard there was a volcano in this particular area but that's all.... Never seen it before. You did a very good job by all the cautions and precautions you shared! I would definitely be following you as you venture around our land!❣💯
Much appreciated 🙏🏽 and yeah we have so much gems throughout our island
Hey everyone start volcano is looking nice and wonderful and please be safe out dear 😊
Thanks Javan 🙏🏽
never knew what a Mud Volcano looked like. Thanks!
You’re welcome, not all looks like this and actually this is the only one you can bathe in
I live in Trinidad and hike from the Shiva boys college to the mud volcano
Nice, that’s like 15k one way?
Thanks for sharing bro. As soon as we can travel I plan to visit the mud volcano. Since primary school I've known about them but haven't visited. Thanks again, keep safe!
You’re welcome and thanks for stopping by... definitely worth the trip next time you can visit
Great job bro. Very educational and informative. Keep up the good work
Thanks bro, that’s the plan
@@TrinbagoVibes hi
nice place but I don't think I will take a swim in that mud pool because how far you to walk just to rinse out the mud .
Lol, it’s just an hour walk and it’s to a beach
👍I’ll have to try it someday
You definitely should and check out my Samsara video as well, it’s down that area and you’ll definitely enjoy the petting zoo
By chance you made the hike to the beach? Would love to see that as well, awesome content, keep it up bro
Stay tuned bro
Great video. where are you showing us next?
Thanks......Spoilers.....it's on the north coast
Great info bro. Keep up the good work. If I chose to park my vehicle and hike to the mud volcano, should I be concerned about it being stolen or broken into?
Thanks for the feedback, there is always a possibility but highly unlikely... I parked a few times well and it’s all good, yuh safe with the villagers and farmers down there
Lonely area...
@@RR4379 it kinda is, but it’s normal on that side
any video of a group of people dunking their heads under the mud at the mud volcano?
Not currently.....but I would not recommend it, for you may accidentally taste it
Hi rajeev how did it feel when you put your feet down i have a fright
I won’t lie I was abit worried but it’s very buoyant, so it keeps you afloat and you can still stay close to the edge if you want as to ease your fright of feet touching the ground
How you clean off that mud boy?
Keith Aqui easiest and best option is to make a 30 minutes walk to the beach nearby. I made another video showing you how to get there: ruclips.net/video/dX--oq6yCjY/видео.html
Hey . So u can go to this place free of charge ? You dont need to make any appointments ?
Yes you can....it’s open to the public....just google map Bunsee trace and drive to the end.... once it hasn’t rain, you’ll be able to drive straight up to the mud volcano... otherwise it’s a 15-30 minutes walk
Thanks so much
@@kaeannhenry8751 you’re welcome ... I highly recommend making the 30-40 minutes walk to the beach (lamoshell beach) to wash off the mud
Why no bathroom and water?
Cuz it a natural mud volcano in the bush, lol and it’s never really been developed as a proper tourist destination unfortunately
🤣🤣🤣🤣
