it's not overrated at all, the 2JZ is one of the best engines ever made and while it doesn't come stock with 2000hp it is more than capable of reliably reaching 2000hp

Got a correction for you. DeLorean still exists as a company. They don't manufacture anymore per se, but the people that bought out the company still have all the original parts that were manufactured and will assemble a complete unit after you order one. They've also announced the next iteration of the DeLorean which is electric

@@mikefelty2625 I'd say that's a different thing, both Alpina and Ruf are manufacturers that heavily modify the engine (and lots more).
The only thing Acura does with the NSX is swap the badges. Everything else is 100% Honda.

Honestly one of my favorite parts of these videos, aside from James and his immaculate chaotic energy, is watching for the little mistakes they make on the list. Like how they both misspelled Mazda and put it after the civic which has 3 more hrsprs
The crazy thing is that a couple smart dudes in some random shop in LA can built a clapped out junkyard LS or Pontiac engine and make 700hp.

Cool list, fun to watch but as always when doing a list like this some things will be missed. The Escalade V from Cadillac has 682 hp, which is more than the 668 from the CTSV Blackwing.
I’d like to see this list in comparison to a power to weight ratio too!

Neat Fact: During testing, Lancia turned up the boost on an S4 Delta to 5bar(~70psi) and produced over 1,000hp.
And if we're counting special editions, the SSC Tuatara Aggressor wins at 2,200hp.

was pretty sure you would get it wrong, cause it isnt a very known
Audi but actually their fastest car (for the road) would be the
Audi RS6 Nogaro Edition with 705 hp and 880 nm of torque
(the normal Nogaro Edition, cause there's one with the ABT RS6-R
apareance, aldo ABT also prepared the normal one's engine)
Brazil has a few Car Manufacturers (Troller, Gurgel, Puma, Agrale, Lupini) wich I think could be included in the videos, there are some really cool models

That Daewoo L4X is the same car as a Holden Statesmen, the Pontiac G8 and the Vauxhall VXR8 are Holden Commodores.. so crazy, I've even seen a Daewoo VX220 which is an Opel/Vauxhaul VX220

the geo storm had a very rare brother called the isuzu impulse rs. Basically a geo storm but was awd, aws, lotus suspension, turbo charged and pop up, up and down headlights. one of the coolest and rarest cars ever. im surprised that donut hasnt done a special on this car.

Honestly, the ZV5 is what I would call an actual Cupra compared to the normal Atecas with 150HP. Their higher end Cupras are good though. Especially the ZV5. There were one for display before it got bought and it was quite nice.

The A110 R (also came with Fernando Alonso edition) is now Alpine's most powerful car in the period of this video got aired😜
Well technically the a110r power train is essentially untouched, putting out the same HP as the a110. Most of the difference comes from weight saving/aero tubing and bigger brakes/better tires. Still a sick car though!
