Couple things you need to fix: - Don't use swillkb plate gen it's old and bad, use modern alternatives such as AI03 plate gen, keebio plate gen - Add fillets to internal corners, external too, you'd save the engineer extra time fixing the design plus you don't want your manufacturer to decide those features themself. - Size your fillets correctly, I noticed the fillets for the internal case are too small compare to the depth of the cut, you need to make it bigger around 0.6-1mm, smaller drill diameter has less cutting depth and are prone to break more, the general rule of thumb is fillet size bigger or equal to 1/3 times the depth of the cut. - Have tolerances between tight-fitting parts, you can either have it on the model or on the drawing, or both; generally, 0.1 is good and you would not see the gap, I usually have a 0.1mm gap between the part in the model directly and have a positive tolerance on the drawing. - Make thread drawings, your manu will definitely ask for them and you don't want them random guessing your screw size. Hope there will be another video with these issues addressed to better inform future designers.
Thanks for all the info! I'm still quite new to this stuff so the input is very helpful. In regards to the thread drawings, the info was written into the drawings so no issues there
I would, but there are a ton of other youtubers who've posted in depth tutorials far better than I could. Even within the same niche, geonworks, zlane, and maker mod labs are some that come to mind. Hopefully you can find stuff there but if you have any specific questions you can always ask me 😁
Thats fair enough. Im new to fusion 360, Ive got some experience from blender and I'm looking to make my tofu 60 2.0. Havn't found a exact tutorial on my model yet.
LOL wasn't really meant to be a complete guide but more a documentation of what I did if you want more in depth instructions I made a guide a little while ago docs.google.com/document/d/1cpj42Q_qyVPNu9XWQ_P38I-uDQNitkwzMnE1E7lXN5Q/edit?usp=sharing

Any chance you'd release you cad files, to see how you designed it? I am also still learning and I think it'd be great to have a design to learn from.
Could we possibly have a more indepth tutorial? Much appreciated if you could

That one might be a little difficult since the tofu isn't an open source design like the bakenekos. Good luck tho 👍
