He already needs multiple tearlaments to be able to mill and make kitkallos, needs multiple names of the useless guardian pieces to make the fusions and has a decent enough kash core that he can make consistently Arise. Adding a trap that is a brick unless you have other kash to reborn is not the best of ideas. He had multiple games where he drew no kashtira with how few names he has or the only kashtira was something like scareclaw who doesn't add shit from deck and doesn't banish anything. So is understandable why he wouldn't want to add a possibly dead card in the deck. If everything goes as planned he plans to otk anyway, why adding more bricks that only makes it harder?

Hey Doug, electrician here. If you have a mechanical timer there is a little on off overide switch at the bottom. If you use it the timer will automatically reset itself when it reaches the next cycle. Digital timers are much less simple.
This has been such a crazy season so far! I love the focus on making the draft portion strategic, such as pack order or pulling from a pack just once for a craft. Can't believe how close it is going into the finale, super stoked! Can't wait to see the changes in season 7 too!
It's crazy that the others actually caught up to Doug. Farfa might actually stand a chance of winning if he keeps sweeping. The banlist might upset that though.
My favorite part was when Gage fusion summoned Super Quantal Mech King Great Magnus by pendulum summoning SP and IP from the banish pile and linking them away for old school Summoned Skull.
Doug, why not play ecclesia + punishment engine? If you are playing a trap heavy deck ecclesia is a body and a trap, not to mention with N'tss you go +1 which is very important because previous episodes you lost due to falling behind in card advantage
I would scarp spright entirely honestly. He is clingin to them since the banlist and mostly lost so far. They crippled that deck with the bans but he is still too tempted by the free specials and negates. That deck can't do shit without follow up, is basically a bunch of small dudes with some removals and good traps. This is basically a very bad altergeist deck.
Over time, I've become less invested in the duels, and more excited about the banter! It's so fun to just hear you three talk about whatever out of nowhere!

I think the crafts probably should have been angelica museum. Far more splashable and enables the pay off of the pop as an interruption for any method of making a 5 and targeting her in combination with the charles and her and museum's constant advantage generation is really strong in limited where games are going even slightly longer.

I've always thought it was a clever bit of rules lawyering that added some decision making, but I also wouldn't mind if they banned the strat for next season just to keep everything fair

I know its probably a bit late, but Gage should be trying to get E Hero Prisma and Magicians Souls for his deck, both those cards are crazy for Gate Guardian
Doug's deck are in a really awkward position. Its a going 1st deck but most his backrow are non engine which makes him prone to brick. But he can't really cut them either because his spright pulls is not good enough.
Mr zeef i have a few small suggestions for next season, instead of reworking the bans so players have more bans per season i think players should have a way to earn more crafts and extra packs to make their decks stronger besides just the loser's wheel, maybe something like challenges that once achieved award prizes, or maybe introduce a trading mechanic between players to spice things up. I personally really loved how high powered the decks this season were, i love watching players combo each other in saga, it embraces how crazy modern card design is even in limited formats.
It is too bad Doug didn’t go first against Gage, because that hand was actually unbeatable going first. Sucks to play a go first deck and then lose both coin tosses.

Suggestion for next season: Try doing limit/bad one card from each person for each episode, but doing it with this rule - each episode u can limit one card from another person - if u choose card that already get limited u can ban it instead Or Instead limit/banning you can make they uncraft one of their card, depend on your win/lose Or You can apply battle city rule where u can take a card from opponent your beat, and take their card
ok for real, how do they know they have x number of a card when opening packs? Do they just remember or is there a mark on the details screen I'm just not seeing?
I’d love to see master saga with each player with 1 ban per game loss at the end of the episode. Works in round Robin too. Keep the wheel, keep the crafts. Would see much more variety and ingenuity.
