Great encounter and awesome footage, too. I kept thinking shoot the doe, shoot the doe! Bird in hand and all😁 That was a tank of a buck, though. Keep after em👍🏹
Just found your channel. Killer videos. This video in particular is pure art. The fall leaves in the sunshine, the birds singing, and omg that buck! Wonder if you might you might consider a video on your equipment (particularly the tree stand you use). Best, Russell Mountains of NC
Man my heart sank when that buck looked you!! But a freaking awesome encounter with a Giant. Best of luck on your next adventure,, it's gonna all come together soon for you with that long bow. Love your attitude about everything. From Talbot county GA
I saw it coming when that Buck started looking around intently. I think he caught just a flash of your scent or something else’s. Tough break on the miss but glad it was clean as you are. I don’t always use face paint or covering but when I hunt in situations like you are I do. It makes a bigger difference than you think. It’s hard for viewers to tell how well you are or are not concealed but it seemed pretty good. Try a bit of face paint or a covering of your choice. I sometimes just use mud or water and ash from camp fire if I don’t want a covering on. Hope you get another shot at him 🦌
Enjoying your latest videos from a fellow Pa. Hunter.South central Pa.Awesome buck there.Wish I could see one of those while hunting the mountains near me.I guess I need to pass little ones to get a big one,but I never seem to cross paths with the big ones.
Thank you for sharing another Excellent hunting adventure ! Deer 🦌 looking up for potential danger is , in my opinion, a learned Behavior that developed along with the increased popularity of tree stand hunting. Good luck in the Pennsylvania rifle season.
Well, at least you know you shouldn’t have taken that shot! Lol As a trad hunter, I understand. Sometimes you just can’t stop the shot. I thought I was the only one with that problem. Lol I actually practice drawing, aiming, and letting down and still sometimes take the shot! Try it sometime, hard to let off when shot feels good. Tank of a buck though! I agree mature 4 1/2 year old. Also, love the Bear Greenhead!
Doe definitely saw you in tree. But not spooking thought it was a done deal. But that's bow hunting . Bear Greenies for broadheads, what's rest of setup? Awesome video.
Another great video. Quick question, at the end when you were doing the grunt calls, it looked like you were in your saddle but you were able to kick up leaves. Were you standing on the ground at that time?
I’m not sure. It’s just a cheap one from Walmart. It has the slide on it to switch from fawn, doe, and buck. Also has snort wheeze on it. Thanks for watching!

Awesome footage and ethics as well. Hate that - "it was the only shot I had" line so commonly used. Love your videos man, keep it up!

I dropped my bow to the ground and bounced it around on the leaves. Thanks for watching!
Your young you second guess yourself to much. Relax and do what you know. Not what you think. Take it in enjoy.

What grunt call are you using ?
