Very well said sir about this topic and all exercises are very excellent and brilliant sir doing the workout of legs workout and keep it up and keep training hard and be strong always sir and stay healthy and stay safe and be positive and happy always sir
I been training my legs at home for awhile. Mainly for Mountain Biking - it does help with climbing and also maneuvering. I do a combo of bodyweight and dumbbell exercises such as: Squats ( Goblet, Air), various lunges such as walking, split squats etc. What are some good hamstring/posterior chain exercises? I typically do hip thrusts from the floor and stiff legged ( although I have trouble feeling them). Also, what are some good exercises for the Hips/hip flexors? Thanks!
I hope this would make my legs strong. Tomorrow onwards I will try. Thank you Sir, for such an amazing Video. Shall I do this Daily or alternatively? 🙏🙏🙏
Work out looks great 👍. I might try this after my tricon month, ( two more weeks). I might put this in on a Friday, and do the chest Monday, with back, the shoulders with arms Wednesday.
at almost 63 i was doing great, but around 5 weeks ago i tripped and all my 240 pounds crashed down on knee hitting cement ..i was carrying drinks and did not want to spill, but of coarse i should have used my hands to take the impact rather than knees....even planks hurt... so i did some legs nice and easy, but it made it more tender... i hate slacking on my training... never had any knee issues even close to this...
I also weigh 240. Squats just never worked for me. I felt it more in my back than my quads, so through the years I found different ways. The best: alternating assisted reverse lunges. Stand in front of a weight bench or table or chair. Step back with left leg and lower knee to the ground. Use hands on the bench for stability and to soften the blow. Push yourself back up, repeat on other leg. Just keep going back and forth. This is golden. Box squats: Just use a chair or bench. Sit....stand up. Get a bench with the leg extension. About $100. Plus weight. Leg extensions wont hurt your knee as long as you dont overload. You want a weight you can do 10+ reps on. Hope this helps
@@BOBANDVEG yes ...its just an injury i never had before...i have been training for 50 years...i will do my best to fix it...just need to go nice and easy for a while... thanks...
😀😁🤩🥰😍👍👏💪🏋♂️ Wow, these excersises I will do these at home (already)!!! @Live Anabolic/Gary Walker: wich excersises do you have to do if you do this work-out AT HOME en you do not have such fitness setups for your legs AT HOME? I mean instead of these 2 excersises by the Pre Exhaust/Isolation Movement: the Sitting Leg Extension and the Lying Leg Extension, so you can do this WHOLE work-out AT HOME! I will ask my fysiotherapist the same question, maybe HE can answer these question....
Do you have any ideas on how to balance out the right arm/shoulder vs. the left arm/shoulder size? You have it, I have it ... most developed guys have it. No one else sees it. You see it. I see it. Our wives think we're crazy. It's genetic. It's a real thing. I've been doing extra sets on the right side (my strong /smaller side). Any other thoughts?
And I have it! I know exactly what you're talking about, I've tried doing more, and less, for that weak side and nothing so far has been able to equalize it. Great question!

You have tremendous routines, but you do not detail how many "sets" of each movement to execute... or to take the muscle to point of momentary failure. Can you add that detail to your video and the write ups in the link ? Thank you for your committment to help people build up Almighty God's Holy Temple on the outside ! Thanks Gary, the pre exhaust sets are a perfect starter for those days when my get up and go got up and went.
Excellent! This was awesome! I hope you got something potent for the calves.
I appreciate this “light” leg workout…..light is a misconception indeed! Excellent!! Subscribed!!
Perfect timing. It’s leg day!!! Thank you for sharing sir!
Just discovered your channel. I’m so glad to find a channel that targets guys over 60(I’m 68).Looking forward to trying these workouts!
Great like always love your workouts. Do you have a calf’s routine?. Thanks

Great. Yes tri sets. I do three rounds of tri sets back to back to back as pre exhaustion. Dips, pullups, leg raises. But I like you plan
Nicely done!
Looking for advice on routines on what to on. On what to work on what days. Like arms on Monday and chest on Tuesday or what to do on what days
This was awesome Gary
Outstanding!!! Can't thank you enough!!
Very professional thank u
Excellent regimen boss. Absolutely love that quad extension, ham curl hybrid machine. Don't see that everyday. 👍🏿
I actually warm up with leg curls as well ..good advice
Great workout sir do I progressively overload after each set or use same weight after each set
Nice. Will try this on my next gym session!
Great routine, thanks

what would you suggest as a good pre-exhaust exercise if you don't have a leg machine?
You should do one like this with no weight at all
How many times a week? Do you increase weight for each rep?
I know this is trivial but I like those workout pants. Where can I get a pair. Thanks!
Great routine, brutal, what about calves?

Sir, we are in the same age group, and have been working out about same length of time. It's good to see someone my age hanging in there. Great post!
As an older guy, this was really really helpful! 👍
Hey there, can I do a wall sit(W/ weights) as a finisher instead?.. or do it as a warm up?.. Tnx..

Are there alternative exercises since I have no access to equipment?
I like the idea of tri a set especially when using light weights
Great routine. My legs are on fire. Thank you
Just subscribed brotha!👍👍💪
Me too.
Like the idea but need a backyard gym version that doesn't require machines.
I like the idea of Tri-sets . But my gym get so packed regardless of the time that I wonder when I get the chance to do that.
Adjustable dumbbells, a multi position bench (Walmart 60 bucks) and a little floor space your good at home
@@nightfangs2910 👍👍👍
You can do the samething wt no machine wt stability ball and bench only .
I'm so glad I built my home gym because it's so convenient
That's why I quit the gym and I build more muscle and strength at home
If you don't have access to machine for the exhaust are there other technices
If you don't have access to a gym what would be an alternative to leg curls or leg ext. for the pre-exhaust phase?
Try using cables with ankle hook straps Bob. Works pretty good for me
Resistance band hammy curls
How to this using bands
Where can I get one of them cool hoodies?
Hi gary,is there another exercise that i can do besides reverse lunges,i just cant do them coz of my knees.cheers
Glute kickbacks. Strengthen your knees with Leg Extensions and leg curls.
There's something about leg curls that's just never felt right to me.
You can do with some dubbels ligth too?
Goodluck
I like doing full body workouts, can I just alternate quads and hamstrings in alternating days, Depending how I feel I will do 3-5 workouts a week.
No. Work quads and hamstrings together for balanced recovery.

Perfect
These tri sets are really idea.
Great routine but what about bad knees at 54 years of age?
Have to watch out you don’t hyperextend. Leg extensions tough on people with bad knees. It takes me 15 minutes to warm up with legs.
What do you do for your leg warm-up?
@@Mr-gb1ob free squat until my knees feel better
