1:25 The Galick Gun could have taken the brunt of the force there leaving Vegeta with only a little bit of damage left to tank, and we all know how durable Vegeta is. Plus I'm sure that pushing Kio-ken to the user's limit like that also makes their attacks a bit unstable and less effective than it would have been if another fighter with a similar natural power did the same thing.
@@alessandroparrinello2551 Well he specifically made them, to show that a weaker person can overcome a stronger person if they have the skill and will to fight. Suddenly now, 20 years later it's "acthwually, his power level is higher so he wins" Which lmao, has actually almost never been the case.
I think the way goku could turn super saiyan again on namek even though he wasn't stated to be fully able to do it until after his time on yardrat was because on namek he was still so enraged at the death of piccolo and krillin that there was still enough of a trigger.
I thought something similar myself; but instead of just the death of Krillin and near-death of Piccolo fueling his rage, it's morese his rage at Frieza having such a massive ego to the point where he refuses to believe that a lesser being, much less a "stupid monkey" could be stronger than him - even with the proof right there in front of him - and his trying to continue an obviously hopeless battle simply because he refuses to accept his defeat. His rage at trying to spare Frieza, but having Frieza give him a resounding "fuck your mercy" in the form of an energy attack while he was leaving pushed him over the edge once again.
@@ShadeDergon97 "YOU FOOL!!!" That line is unforgettable. Frieza should've just accepted Goku's mercy and left but he just had to ruin it by going for one final attack, only for Goku to finish him off. Even after everything that Frieza has done, Goku still believed in him. Frieza won't change his ways at all, correct?
Fun fact Vegeta's line in the Super Hero movie implies he has never beaten Goku in a sparring match before. Meaning that, during their visit to the time chamber in Super, Vegeta spent a whole year getting folded by Goku's Blue Kaioken
I doubt Goku would use it that much. They most likely had a huge amount of ties, and a couple of close wins by Goku IF Goku used Blue Kaio he'd fold Vegeta, but it's not really his thing to use it willy nilly
Goku most probably didn’t use SSBKK as Vegeta was just as surprised as everyone else about the reveal. He even starts having flashbacks about Goku beating him up with Kaioken in their Saiyan arc fight while having an internal monologue about Goku leaving him in the dust again.
It's more that Vegeta finally had a definitive win, in a fair, straight up fight. In Vegeta's mind, their sparring matches don't count because the purpose of sparring isn't to see who wins or loses, but for both parties to hone their skills with someone relative in power to them. Vegeta's first fight ended in a team effort spoiling it, the Majin Vegeta fight ended with Vegeta cheap shotting Goku when he was for all intents and purposes a non-combatant. Their fight in Superhero is a fair, no nonsense, straight up brawl. No frills, no secret techniques. Just raw power, skill and stamina. So Vegeta winning a fair fight like that is immensely cathartic to him

Btw when vegeta was taken to train before goku during resurrection f I honestly think vegeta was wayy stronger than goku at that point but you seemed to have some doubts and beliefs about this fact which is ok soo anyway good video wish u well
17:11 the thing is, Vegeta did better against Gas, due to Goku not being able to keep himself Calm, as he states and later even Toyotaro stating that a Calm Perfected Ultra Instinct Goku, basically in his Silver Hair, but calm, was still above his Newly accuired True UI form
12:16 *Hey, Carthu!* Toyotaro did name it. In fact, he named all three forms of the manga's SSB and the technique Goku uses in the Zamasu arc. There was a whole page with explanations on it that show the manga treats the Blue forms as aura transformations. There's "Initial SSGSS", "Advanced SSGSS", and "Mastered SSGSS" as well as the "Completion of the SSGSS form" technique. So yeah, that form is officially called "Mastered SSGSS".
1:01 Goku was trying to defend earth, Vegeta wasnt joking around and wanted Cui DEAD, plus the Kamehameha was defending against Galick gun, plus Vegeta escaped before it could explode
Goku was already tired from repeated uses of Kaio-Ken by the time the beam struggle happened in the fight vs Vegeta. I imagine this meant a reduction in the Kamehameha due to fatigue despite entering the Kaio-Ken state.
I agree as well. He started the battle with a base over 8,000. But after multiple uses he might be closer half or 2/3rds his power. Also if Goku lost half of his base power by that point in the fight, Vegeta could also have lost a portion of his energy, making it close to wiping him out with the kamehameha, but still had enough energy to survive.
Yet Vegeta also was dealing with the rest of the remaining crew, considering Gohan was always top 3 fighters post Raditz. After demolishing Goku after using his own respective transformation (which HE was ALWAYS able to LEARN by EARNING it himself, unlike King Kai training) via Blutzwave, then getting jumped and snuck again.
So now yk that ultra ego Vegeta is stronger then goku 💀💀but u made an entire video debunking and hating on hyourinjustu for making a what if that said Vegeta was stronger is wild

This is the first time I watched an ad in years because Carthu not only tied it into the video but also roasted the entire DB fan base in 10 seconds. Edit: the part is at 2:49
Currently they’re dead even in power. You missed the part where UE Vegeta and TUI Goku Are fighting Gas in his zombie state. Vegeta actually manages to damage Gas’ mouth, and he clearly lands more blows than Goku does. Goku does heavily damage Gas’ arm, though. It’s quite evident that after Vegeta had fully healed from his previous fight with Gas, he had absorbed enough damage from gas and Granolah at that point to boost his UE relative to Goku’s TUI.
these lore analysis videos are such a great counterpart to my current first time read through of the dragonball manga. thanks for these! E: LOL “ultra instinct dropouts”
8:14 it’s actually been shown in the ROF saga that he can use Saiyon beyond god so it kind of retcon him not absorbing it in the manga unless he absorbs it over the training untill ROF but I don’t remember that being stated
The Kamehameha Wave vs Galick Gun in the Saiyan Saga can be explained. Firstly, both forms are a concentrated blast that is more powerful than the on paper power of the caster, but the Galick Gun is more purely destructive, like Disrupters vs Phasers. It takes sustained contact to destroy something. Anyway, the Kamehameha has to blast through the Galick before it reaches Vegeta and then Vegeta manages to roll off the ball before it destroys him completely. No doubt helped because at this point in the battle Goku is already getting tired from fighting someone over twice his base power and using a technique that is extremely hard on the body, his Ki levels far from maxed out. My theory is that as they were fairly evenly matched at 3x Kaioken, Goku was down to about 6k remaining power and weakening, and the effort of going Times 4 dropped that to 5k. Enough to win, but not enough to one-shot. Plus of course as you say, Goku never wanted to kill Vegeta.
Bro I've been a big fan of your show and I keep doing what you're doing and I like that you're showing your face and I'm mad that builds up confidence that I can see the person that I admire thank you for everything and rest in peace a Toriyama
It’s probable that the reason Goku didn’t only go x3 against Vegeta is because he knew he only had one last good attack in him and if Vegeta had any more trick up his sleeve it would’ve have gone well. He also could have just wanted to show a large enough difference in power to discourage Vegeta from attacking again if he was spared.
i always thought it was neat that vegeta's training was able to surpass goku's during the android saga which they later did again with vegeta against goku black. Usually u have goku be the one who is the prodigy between the two getting ahead but seeing moments where vegeta can catch up or surpass helps maintain their rivalry while also strengthening the narrative of vegeta just lacked confidence in what he was doing or rather what getting stronger meant to him.
Vegeta wasn't killed because of the multipliers of the techniques, so Goku's Base is 8,000 with a Kamehameha which is a 2.2x multiplier would result in his power level jumping to 17,600, with a Kaiō-Ken amp of x2 he would be at 16,000, with a x3, Goku would be at 24,000, with a Kaiō-Ken x3 Kamehameha he would be at 52,800, with a Kaiō-Ken x4 Kamehameha he would be at 70,400, Vegeta's base was 18,000, the Galick Gun is a x3 multiplier, so his power level would have been 54,000 so it would have been (Kaiō-Ken x3 Kamehameha) 52,800 vs 54,000 (Galick Gun) then (Kaiō-Ken x4 Kamehameha) 70,400 vs 54,000 (Galick Gun) and if we factor in Vegeta likely getting a rage boost at that time, and Goku and Vegeta both being tired, but Goku more so do to fighting someone over 2x his own power, having to use the Kaiō-Ken which would destroy his body and stamina, giving him a power high, but then a drop, which I think would roughly make them equal enough to not kill Vegeta.
Decided I'd tally up the Goku wins as there was no number given to directly compare the two 18 That's what I counted up and here's the list of points Early Namek saga (during both of Vegeta's zenkai's) After the healing pod Cell games Buu saga (I think this counts as two but maybe it's only one as the video mainly addresses Majin Vegeta and not anything else) SSG vs Beerus Early whis training Goku black rage boost (he counted Vegeta's against Beerus so this is fair) Goku's full power kamehameha vs Zamasu² Manga blue perfected Blue kaioken x20 early top Ui sign first Ui sign second Mui Goku/the final Jiren fight Broly Mui Moro fight UI with emotions (vs gas) - - - - that was what I tallied up in the video, however I feel like the Yardrat time skip should also be counted for Goku but it wasn't addressed as a point for Goku in the video Hope the tally helps
Goku should've charged the Spirit Bomb whenever he's waiting to fight or is incapacitated but still conscious. Even if he can't use it, he can pass it on to someone else to use like he did with Krillin.
Does it really matter if Vegeta is stronger than Goku when he's only stronger so that he can job against the bad guy, making Goku look cooler by comparison? Vegeta's just lucky that Super bumping him up to a secondary protagonist and true rival kept him relevant. Any other circumstance, Hit and Jiren would have become Goku's new main squeezes, and Vegeta would have faded into the background as a beloved former rival to Goku who doesn't get the treatment fans wish he did, like Tenshinhan and Piccolo before him.
@@Oswaldoxs11 And you think Toriyama cares about popularity? I mean, he does, to a point. He admitted that Vegeta was supposed to die in the Saiyan arc, but stuck around because of his popularity. But he also admitted that he made Goku lose his first two tournaments because fans wanted him to win, and was also content with a story about robotic old guy and mime killing everyone in an alternate timeline as a followup to Goku fighting Freeza on a dying world. If Toriyama decided on a whim to write an arc where Vegeta decides to admit "I'm done. I can't surpass Kakarot, and I'm done failing at chasing his tail" to introduce a new rival character, nobody would even attempt to stop him because he gives no shits.
15:56 i love using this as proof as to why cell was a super saiyan. there are so many cell saga references in the moro arc, and moro copying goku and going ultra instinct type shit is so in line to be a reference to cell going super saiyan. also, when people go super saiyan grade 2, they are often referred to as "super vegeta" or "super trunks", and super-perfect cell implies he got grade 2 of super saiyan.
I'd like to think Goku could still control Super Saiyan on Namek because he was living in the moment. Once he escaped and sat in the spaceship on his way to Yardrat, he forgot exactly how it felt and needed some help getting it back.
Simply put, Gohan is stronger than trunks in the future timeline, while in present, Trunks starts out stronger but once Gohan masters ssj it's over for him till super gives him the ssj rage
I like how you power scale logically and consistently with how the series portrays the characters as well as thinking about the different ways they could win a fight even if they’re slightly overpowered by their opponents
This was really good and potrayed in a YT video. I think that you should have given the point to Goku in the namek saga. How does Vegeta go from like base 30,000 to 2mil in 1 saga? W video though i loved it.
I love how Kakarotto and bejita-san are going down their own paths lately. Attaining different forms and approaching fighting differently. I also enjoy how they are giving Bejita-san cool techniques like spirit fission.
Vegeta going from 18,000 to 24,000 then to 30,000 and then to 250,000 makes absolutely zero sense and whoever wrote that wasn't thinking clearly or logically whatsoever. Vegeta was blown away by Goku's power when he arrived at Namek and toyed around with the Ginyu Force effortlessly. He also thought Goku was the legendary Super Saiyan because of his power. Then Goku had to use Kaio Ken to get to 180,000 when Ginyu kept asking Goku to show his true power, so Goku's base was much lower, yet Vegeta with 250,000 is crapping his pants at Goku's supposedly much lower power? In what universe does any of this makes any sense?! It's completely illogical and laughably ridiculous that Vegeta was over twice as strong as Goku (base) after recovering from his wounds after the fight with Recoome.
Some of those manga ones are definitely wrong. Blue Evolved Vegeta gets shat on by Moro very badly, with the entire fight with Goku having Moro using his magic and better stamina to outlast him since in strength Goku was equal or above and speed he was VERY much ahead. If not for Spirit Fission, Vegeta was done for which everyone basically says. As for Granolah, Goku surpasses Ego Vegeta in Blue alone. Granolah got healed to full health (which he already beat Vegeta with) and got bullied by Gas. Then Goku in Blue does WAY better than Granolah did. When they first face Gas together, Goku's definitely stronger until Vegeta adapts. He takes Gas' attacks better, he's faster since he could actually dodge Gas hits and he pushed back the Hakai attack Vegeta meant for him. Omen/True UI Goku beating Gas into the ground though does mean that Goku was WAY ahead though if not for being bad with silver hair since both he and Gas admit silver hair is Goku's full strength. Though, I'd say you can argue for Vegeta in the anime at least before they team up on Jiren. Vegeta didn't have stuff like the Kefla fight, multiple rounds with Jiren and Goku's low energy training Blue stamina to increase his power. All he had is a fight with Toppo. Vegeta is equal to or above Toppo in their fight, same Toppo who went on to demolish Gohan and 17 who were both stated to be at Goku Blue's level before the ToP started. Based on that, you could argue Vegeta was the strongest in the start of the arc, at least in Blue. Also that Final Flash is WAY stronger than even the first usage of UI. Vegeta and Goku back up the statements that Jiren is stronger than against UI round. 1and Kefla and yet Vegeta put him flat on his ass and Jiren even complimented the power unlike the Spirit Bomb or UI 1 Goku. Also Vegeta was doing about as well as post UI 2 Goku against Jiren which is pretty damn crazy.
That form of Vegeta can be called Mastered Blue, since it's basically like Perfected Blue, without it's Drawbacks and with Access to more Divine Energy Or Perfected Blue Evolved
The Ki attacks themselves have multipliers. Like the special beam canon is more powerful than Piccolo himself. This explains why the Special Beam Canon worked on Raditz despite Raditz being the more powerful of the two. Galick Gun has a multiplier, which is why it's able to contend with the Kaioken.
Here's my thought to the first part of this video, with the Saiyian Saga. It's possible that the extreme stamina drain on Goku directly impacts his power level (as we've seen many times throughout the series, stamina is *essentially* just chi in Dragon Ball). So maybe he was at 32,000, but his lack of control of the x3 Kaio-Ken made the stamina drain too drastic on his body too quickly, thus quickly dropping his base power level to a point where x3 was equivalent to base Vegeta.
So, when Goku said "I couldnt do it at first but i worked hard at it until I was able to control it" what he means is, in the anime how Goku BECAME a Super Sayian was he was full rage, meaning he had to get REALLY angry to transform. But in the anime, Goku tell Trunks "At first i had to get really worked to transform, but now i can pretty much do whenever i want" He wasnt talking just turning INTO a super sayian but the effort it took to BECOME a super sayian. Less rage, and more focus.
Saiyan Saga = Vegeta > Goku (Because Vegeta can go Oozaru) Namek Saga = Vegeta > Goku Ginyu Saga = Goku > Vegeta Ginyu Saga (Final Battle) = Vegeta > Goku (Due to Vegeta's Zenkai) Frieza Saga = Goku > Vegeta Trunks Saga = Goku > Vegeta Android Saga = Vegeta > Goku (Even w/o the Heart Virus, Piccolo implies Vegeta has a slight edge over Goku) Cell Saga = Vegeta > Goku Cell Games Saga = Goku > Vegeta Buu Saga = Goku > Vegeta Battle of Gods Saga = Goku > Vegeta (Although Roshi implies Rage Boost SSJ2 Vegeta did briefly surpass SSJ3 Goku. However Goku regains a huge advantage with SSJG) Resurrection F Saga = Goku = Vegeta (They both had SSJ Blue as their highest power so I think they were equals at this point) Tournament of Destroyers Saga = Goku > Vegeta (From here through out most of the DBS Anime, Goku has Blue Kaioken which always gives him the edge over Vegeta) Goku Black Saga = Goku > Vegeta Tournament of Power = Goku > Vegeta (Blue Kaioken gives Goku the edge at the start of the saga, though Blue Evolution brings Vegeta on par with Blue Kaioken. However Goku quickly regains the edge with Ultra Instinct) Dragon Ball Super Broly = Goku > Vegeta (Presumably Goku can access Ultra Instinct at this point, it's just not easy for him to do so, so he still gets the edge because he has UI in his back pocket) Moro Arc = Goku > Vegeta (Ultra Instinct again gives Goku the edge) Granolah & DBS Super Hero = Goku = Vegeta (Having obtained Ultra Ego, I think Vegeta is back to being equal to UI Goku)
@@animegematria no but they only sparred in base form, plus it was only hand to hand combat, no special blasts. So, of they used their forms and fought at thier maximum potential/strength, they would probably be equal since TUI is a stronger form than UE but with Vegeta being just slightly stronger than Goku in base, it cancels out and thus makes them equal
I have mentioned it in various places before, but I really hope Vegeta gets a new ability/form that's better than this "Ultra Ego". Getting simply stronger every time you take damage is a serious double-edged sword, and since it's apparently nothing more than increased power, its impact in a fight will taper out over time. As I've mentioned before, I really want him to gain a proper complement to Ultra Instinct, and Ego does not do this in my opinion. Rather, since Vegeta was told that he "thinks too much" and thus has trouble running on pure instinct, have him think MORE. Concentrate on the battle so much, so deeply, understand the flow and the opponent to such an extent, that the path the fight will take becomes as clear as day. No need to stop thinking and let his muscles move before he can think, because he's already thought so far ahead that he's moving even before that reflex could happen. Think Nighteye from MHA, who could crush his opponent due to clearly knowing exactly what they'll do, how he'll dodge, how they'll react to that dodge, etc. and thus merely needs to carry out the obvious path laid before him. THAT is a complement to UI, a path that achieves a similar end but does so through a unique and opposing path. It's also one that could easily be written as UI's worst nightmare. After all, since in Ultra Instinct you aren't really thinking, just moving on reflex, to an extent you actually become much more predictable. Problem is just thinking far enough ahead quickly enough, but that's the core of this concept anyway.
On topic of Goku using U.I against Gas, would anyone be against calling the state that he uses Primal Ultra Instinct? I mean, I think it would make sense since he's using the power of Ultra Instinct alongside the primal instincts of a Saiyan, so Primal Ultra Instinct sounds like a good name to call it.
I’m wonder if the Cell Jr’s could end up having a purpose in the main story or at least in the future of Super, maybe becoming named characters and growing into adult Cells, could be a fun what if, sorta like the Majins
6:02 How is Goku using Instant Transmission in a clever way against Vegeta or a Genkidama out of character for Goku? Isn't it something he literally did against Cell? And didn't he use the Genkidama against Vegeta in the Saiyan saga? Unless I misunderstood what you tried to say, I don't see why it'd be out of character as Goku has been shown in DBZ to be quite the intelligent fighter. Only DBS dumbed him down.
Those are "killing" techniques generally. Goku was trying his best to kill Cell but he wouldn't be trying to kill Vegeta (unless we're talking blood lusted like I said in the video)
1:05 Beam attacks in DBZ can be charged up to output power way beyond the user’s power level. This is the most prominent with the Special Beam Cannon, but in the 23rd World Tournament and even in the Raditz fight, we see that done with the Kamehameha as well when it is turned into the “Super Kamehameha”. So it is safe to say that that was the case with Vegeta charging up his Galick Gun, increasing its power by 33% from his base power level of 18,000 (by comparison, Goku was able to charge his Super Kamehameha to almost double his usual power level against Raditz. Funnily enough, if Vegeta was actually as proficient with the Galick Gun as Goku was with the Kamehameha, he would have easily cleared the x4 Kaioken Kamehameha with a Galick Gun nearing 36K in power). As to why Goku’s Kaioken Kamehameha then scaled linearly with his Kaioken multipliers; I assume it is because his body is already too strained from the technique to properly charge it to its maximum effectiveness, though the official reasoning is never directly stated. A standard Kaioken Kamehameha is already boosted past that of a normal heavily charged Kamehameha anyways (both Super Kamehamehas were _almost_ double Goku’s base power level. A Kaioken Kamehameha _is_ double Goku’s base power level). And as to why Vegeta wasn’t killed after the beam clash, we see when Vegeta is flying off that he is being sent skyward by a small isolated chunk of energy. Usually, in order to raze the opponent, you would have to continue putting energy into the attack until they get completely reduced to atoms (see: Vegeta vs Dodoria or Vegeta vs Jeice). Since the Kaioken x4 Kamehameha was just a short burst before Goku literally couldn’t move for a bit, it could be assumed that it _just_ cancelled out the Galick Gun, resulting in Vegeta being sent away by a beam with a power of only ~8K (being unable to escape for a bit due to fatique). This could explain why even his armor remains mostly intact, when a blast ~80% stronger than him would have otherwise easily disintegrated him. Though again, none of this is directly stated by the series.
Yeah also extremely confused with that He ends the video saying how much times vegeta was ahead but the videp is called goku vs vegeta so this comparison point doesn't make sense cause he didn't keep track of times goku was ahead like what
I like to think Friezas attempt at backstabbing him enraged him enough to re-transform. He was probably still angry enough to keep it on or off that whole time.

Their fight in Superhero is a fair, no nonsense, straight up brawl. No frills, no secret techniques.
Just raw power, skill and stamina.
So Vegeta winning a fair fight like that is immensely cathartic to him
Their sparring matches were ties
Thank you for not being biased and putting on a good show plus I hope someday we see either a Vegeta journey episode or see another what if
I honestly thought this was gonna be the kind of video that would leave out sometimes when vegeta was obviously ahead of goku but its covered pretty much eveytime vegeta has been ahead. This was the best video you've ever released in my opinion really enjoyed it.
Btw when vegeta was taken to train before goku during resurrection f I honestly think vegeta was wayy stronger than goku at that point but you seemed to have some doubts and beliefs about this fact which is ok soo anyway good video wish u well
Yeah when Goku said "wow you're stronger than me" I just took it at face value lol
But still, for sure, great video

17:11 the thing is, Vegeta did better against Gas, due to Goku not being able to keep himself Calm, as he states and later even Toyotaro stating that a Calm Perfected Ultra Instinct Goku, basically in his Silver Hair, but calm, was still above his Newly accuired True UI form
12:16 *Hey, Carthu!*
Toyotaro did name it.
Blue Evolution it is.
Yeah ain't nobody calling it that
Those suck 😭
why is he just counting vegeta
Facts i was thinking the same thing
cuz, vegeta gets cooked 24/7, therefore he only counts vegeta to make up for his L’s
Because no one cares about goku's plot armour power ups
1:01 Goku was trying to defend earth, Vegeta wasnt joking around and wanted Cui DEAD, plus the Kamehameha was defending against Galick gun, plus Vegeta escaped before it could explode
Ngl that sponsorship was so smooth, I had to watch it all. W video too
Made it here!
16:14
Damn, Carthu. What did Beerus and Vegeta do to you for you to burn them like that? 😂
They dropped out
I'll never forget the middle Animation....Much more emotions and seriousness.
Goku was already tired from repeated uses of Kaio-Ken by the time the beam struggle happened in the fight vs Vegeta. I imagine this meant a reduction in the Kamehameha due to fatigue despite entering the Kaio-Ken state.
Yeah the Kai-Ken was taking a heavyyy toll on his body. I mean he wasn't even able to move anymore after that final Kamehameha
The editing is insane man 👏🏾

Edit: the part is at 2:49
You forgot the part in the Granola Arch where Goku fights better than Vegeta against Gaz in SSJ Blue. When they are teleporting across he universe
Yes bro u r the goat
these lore analysis videos are such a great counterpart to my current first time read through of the dragonball manga. thanks for these!
E: LOL “ultra instinct dropouts”
The "ultra instinct dropouts are teaming up" is golden.
No way vegeta was only 250k after fighting recome frieza 1st form is 530k which vegeta kept up with
After the zenkai
8:14 it’s actually been shown in the ROF saga that he can use Saiyon beyond god so it kind of retcon him not absorbing it in the manga unless he absorbs it over the training untill ROF but I don’t remember that being stated
Another great video carthu
Also the kamehameha is 2.2x so even at 18,000 he would go to 39,600, which WOULD kill vegeta
Bro I've been a big fan of your show and I keep doing what you're doing and I like that you're showing your face and I'm mad that builds up confidence that I can see the person that I admire thank you for everything and rest in peace a Toriyama
Great video!! Love how you edit these!
Usually u have goku be the one who is the prodigy between the two getting ahead but seeing moments where vegeta can catch up or surpass helps maintain their rivalry while also strengthening the narrative of vegeta just lacked confidence in what he was doing or rather what getting stronger meant to him.
but they had to fuck with Vegeta killing Frieza the much needed completion of ARC!
3D Carthu scares me (looking good! keep up the content king😤)
Love your videos they are amazing keep up the good work
I really like your content tbh the way you speak is fascinating enough to keep me entertained.
Vegeta wasn't killed because of the multipliers of the techniques, so Goku's Base is 8,000 with a Kamehameha which is a 2.2x multiplier would result in his power level jumping to 17,600, with a Kaiō-Ken amp of x2 he would be at 16,000, with a x3, Goku would be at 24,000, with a Kaiō-Ken x3 Kamehameha he would be at 52,800, with a Kaiō-Ken x4 Kamehameha he would be at 70,400, Vegeta's base was 18,000, the Galick Gun is a x3 multiplier, so his power level would have been 54,000 so it would have been
(Kaiō-Ken x3 Kamehameha) 52,800 vs 54,000 (Galick Gun) then
(Kaiō-Ken x4 Kamehameha) 70,400 vs 54,000 (Galick Gun) and if we factor in Vegeta likely getting a rage boost at that time, and Goku and Vegeta both being tired, but Goku more so do to fighting someone over 2x his own power, having to use the Kaiō-Ken which would destroy his body and stamina, giving him a power high, but then a drop, which I think would roughly make them equal enough to not kill Vegeta.
Vegetq didn't get a rage boost, he just dies to the kamehameha
I love your videos your one of the best RUclips channels I’ve ever watched

Decided I'd tally up the Goku wins as there was no number given to directly compare the two

That's what I counted up and here's the list of points
Early Namek saga (during both of Vegeta's zenkai's)
After the healing pod
Cell games
Buu saga (I think this counts as two but maybe it's only one as the video mainly addresses Majin Vegeta and not anything else)
SSG vs Beerus
Early whis training
Goku black rage boost (he counted Vegeta's against Beerus so this is fair)
Goku's full power kamehameha vs Zamasu²
Manga blue perfected
Blue kaioken x20 early top
Ui sign first
Ui sign second
Mui Goku/the final Jiren fight
Broly
Mui Moro fight
UI with emotions (vs gas)
- - - - that was what I tallied up in the video, however I feel like the Yardrat time skip should also be counted for Goku but it wasn't addressed as a point for Goku in the video
Hope the tally helps
Goku should've charged the Spirit Bomb whenever he's waiting to fight or is incapacitated but still conscious. Even if he can't use it, he can pass it on to someone else to use like he did with Krillin.
Can't wait for the next arc of dbs manga vid, you have the best ones out there
Goddamn that’s a crazy Zenkai boost. I had no idea Recoome messed Vegeta up that bad.
This should have been titled “Every point in the series where Vegeta could beat Goku” since there’s so goku wins on the screen and only vegeta 😭
Vegeta is like the most popular character, that would never happen to him, he got promoted for that reason

He was in the zone
Great video

Simply put, Gohan is stronger than trunks in the future timeline, while in present, Trunks starts out stronger but once Gohan masters ssj it's over for him till super gives him the ssj rage

Im pretty sure vegeta power level is 250,000 after his zenkai on namek
🤓👆
Pretty sure the worse the damage the stronger the zenkai no?
Short answer: Goku Wins
Long answer: Saiyan Saga is the only time Vegeta wins the 1v1
That form of Vegeta can be called Mastered Blue, since it's basically like Perfected Blue, without it's Drawbacks and with Access to more Divine Energy
Or Perfected Blue Evolved
Bro just gave up at that moment 11:13
The Ki attacks themselves have multipliers. Like the special beam canon is more powerful than Piccolo himself. This explains why the Special Beam Canon worked on Raditz despite Raditz being the more powerful of the two. Galick Gun has a multiplier, which is why it's able to contend with the Kaioken.
7:40 where does this footage come from? I’ve literally never seen it lol. Or at least i don’t remember it
Dbs broly or after the T.o.p arc
Here's my thought to the first part of this video, with the Saiyian Saga. It's possible that the extreme stamina drain on Goku directly impacts his power level (as we've seen many times throughout the series, stamina is *essentially* just chi in Dragon Ball). So maybe he was at 32,000, but his lack of control of the x3 Kaio-Ken made the stamina drain too drastic on his body too quickly, thus quickly dropping his base power level to a point where x3 was equivalent to base Vegeta.
Everyone just make sure not to forget that goku has never won against vegeta
So, when Goku said "I couldnt do it at first but i worked hard at it until I was able to control it" what he means is, in the anime how Goku BECAME a Super Sayian was he was full rage, meaning he had to get REALLY angry to transform. But in the anime, Goku tell Trunks "At first i had to get really worked to transform, but now i can pretty much do whenever i want" He wasnt talking just turning INTO a super sayian but the effort it took to BECOME a super sayian. Less rage, and more focus.
Saiyan Saga = Vegeta > Goku (Because Vegeta can go Oozaru)
Namek Saga = Vegeta > Goku
Ginyu Saga = Goku > Vegeta
Ginyu Saga (Final Battle) = Vegeta > Goku (Due to Vegeta's Zenkai)
Frieza Saga = Goku > Vegeta
Trunks Saga = Goku > Vegeta
Android Saga = Vegeta > Goku (Even w/o the Heart Virus, Piccolo implies Vegeta has a slight edge over Goku)
Cell Saga = Vegeta > Goku
Cell Games Saga = Goku > Vegeta
Buu Saga = Goku > Vegeta
Battle of Gods Saga = Goku > Vegeta (Although Roshi implies Rage Boost SSJ2 Vegeta did briefly surpass SSJ3 Goku. However Goku regains a huge advantage with SSJG)
Resurrection F Saga = Goku = Vegeta (They both had SSJ Blue as their highest power so I think they were equals at this point)
Tournament of Destroyers Saga = Goku > Vegeta (From here through out most of the DBS Anime, Goku has Blue Kaioken which always gives him the edge over Vegeta)
Goku Black Saga = Goku > Vegeta
Tournament of Power = Goku > Vegeta (Blue Kaioken gives Goku the edge at the start of the saga, though Blue Evolution brings Vegeta on par with Blue Kaioken. However Goku quickly regains the edge with Ultra Instinct)
Dragon Ball Super Broly = Goku > Vegeta (Presumably Goku can access Ultra Instinct at this point, it's just not easy for him to do so, so he still gets the edge because he has UI in his back pocket)
Moro Arc = Goku > Vegeta (Ultra Instinct again gives Goku the edge)
Granolah & DBS Super Hero = Goku = Vegeta (Having obtained Ultra Ego, I think Vegeta is back to being equal to UI Goku)
Quite accurate analysis, I think you just explained Carthu's whole video in this singular comment 😂

@@animegematria In base lol
Mr Carthu, the Super Sayain Blue Evolution is just Super Sayian 2 God ki
Hope this helped your confusion
7:14
I like how vegeta has a sleeveless shirt in one panel and in the next has sleeves
I'd rather just "Primal Instinct", the "Ultra" in general is pretty superfluous.
Actually, "Saiyan Instinct" would probably be best.
2:07 nice sponsor transition
I’m wonder if the Cell Jr’s could end up having a purpose in the main story or at least in the future of Super, maybe becoming named characters and growing into adult Cells, could be a fun what if, sorta like the Majins
Vegeta be taking so many L's his fans find it easier to count his W's
Bro wait what was this a video only for Vegeta or something bro only counts vegeta's wins.
Yeah also extremely confused with that
He ends the video saying how much times vegeta was ahead but the videp is called goku vs vegeta so this comparison point doesn't make sense cause he didn't keep track of times goku was ahead like what
I like to think Friezas attempt at backstabbing him enraged him enough to re-transform. He was probably still angry enough to keep it on or off that whole time.
