Yeah, i tough he was in late 30s early 40s, receding hairline can make you look waaay older, I have a similar hairline and I hate it, well, "at least" I have hair.

My hair is very similar to his. I've been cutting my own hair since 2020 and I've been using your channel as inspiration but this gentleman and I have very similar hair and I'll definitely use this as a guide for my next cut. Great job and looks perfect!

What’s frustrating and disappointing is getting a great haircut and then never being able to get it duplicated either by the original hairstylist or a different one. I hope these guys came get the same care again

You can see the genuine love care time and dedication that Dan has for cutting for hair, Been watching his videos for a while now as i’ve finally made the decision to cut my hair back to an undercut like Haaland from Man City and when i have it done i either have, a taper, low fade soft fade or a high taper and I use a scrunchie band to tie it up,
One question for you Dan do you think a low high double or normal taper, or a low fade would look good with an undercut as a taper seems to be the only option for me? 💈👌🏼

dan is the albert einstein of barbering. his knowledge is beyond the norm.
He's right. I live in Boston and finding barbers or hairstylists here who can do anything beyond the cookie-cutter cropped male hairstyles is almost impossible.
I’d love to bring my husband & 2 adult sons for a long session of consultations & haircuts for all 3 of them! Great work Dan & Zac ended with a great style & the knowledge of how to take of his hair & how to style in a different way for different occasions too. I hope he returns to Dan for maintenance style styling. Zac you should smile more often as you have a handsome face that lights up when you smile but look a bit serious here.

Much better after. His issue with the long hair is that he has fine hair which has no volume and a wide bitemporal width so it makes his head look far too wide and sides fare out like the client said earlier.
The after looks much better and the haircut is technically really good though I still think he will have some issues with the sides flaring out unless he blow drys the top to give it hold because he has fine hair and once he showers the next day that top portion is gonna lay flat and throw the cut off with the sides. Basically fine hair sucks without a lot of density sucks and limits options.

Love your videos! I had a really poor education, plus I had to leave early to go to work so I missed the busiest time for working on clients. Then my first couple of experiences in salon's were abusive or no education which everything combined turned off to the business. I do love to cut hair. I asked one of my instructors one time how to start a cut that a guy had requested...long, thick, to a shorter style...she was no help at all, told me to "just start cutting". The same "instructor" butchered my hair even when I gave her the actual instructions for the cut. It was supposed to start with one inch at the nape then elevate each section up to the occipital, then bring the top down to that line and angle toward the front with long layers through the top. I ended up with something similar to this cut you just finished because she "just started cutting". I cried for days! I'm am 100% female so I was devastated to be butchered with a man's haircut!
