Conjugate Strength Training for Beginners by Matt Wenning on TH and if it´s too much volume or junk volume for naturals and too complex to begin with for beginners because of all the compound movements. thx

Finally! Field Strong is my favorite program I have ever done. I just turned 41 and training like an athlete has kept me functional, and looking good. Also, when coach John says "for time" that means no rest.

Can you please review Josh bridges military program or one of the SOCOM athletes programs?

This is a better example. I’ve noticed a lot of programs you have reviewed don’t mention ways on selecting load. No %1RM, RPE/RIR, intent, etc.
Do you think that’s intentional. How is someone not as experienced supposed to know what load is appropriate for each rep scheme?

I can't speak for everyone, but that stuff should be clear in the program or have an element of support (which I know TrainHeroic has this feature)

OK, I’m 50, just got clearance from shoulder repair. About 40 pounds overweight haven’t been to the gym in a while. What’s the best starter program for someone like me?
