Intro to the sculpting environment in Fusion 360. We'll use it quickly design a ghost and 3D print it.
It's almost Halloween so let's model and 3D print a ghost. We'll use the sculpting environment in Fusion 360 to form the ghost body and then we'll switch to the model workspace to extrude the eyes and mouth. It's great to have both workspaces in one software. Enjoy!
Great to see a Fusion tutorial more focused on free form abstract techniques rather than being tied to rigid dimensions and constraints.
It is unreal how many features Fusion 360 has. Vlad is an amazing teacher!!!
Thanks Mike!
Great tutorial! Whimsical and fun, and demonstrates some VERY useful sculpting technique. Thanks!
Thanks for such a great tutorial....just what I needed to get started on sculpting....Kudos!
This is such a good intro to sculpting in Fusion 360! Thank you so much 🙏
Thanks FractalSparrow. Glad you found it helpful.
Very relax and very good to instruct people to do thing. EYEBROW THIS EYEBROW LOL
Thank you, simple and clear instructions, a good introduction to sculpting in itself.
Really good! More sculpting please! Thank you!
Thanks for the great tutorial. This is fantastic. I never even touched the sculpt. Will be playing around with it now for sure!
Hi Vladimir, great clear tutorial. Thank you for sharing. I ended up making my own version in glow in the dark PLA. Looks great.
Very cool. Great idea going with glow in the dark PLA.
Very nice, Vladimir! You make this look easy. I tried playing with the sculpting environment awhile back, and my results were also monstrous. But not in a cool, Halloween way.... more like a "you don't know what you're doing" kind of way. :) Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
Haha, I felt the same way when I started. You just have push through it and each time you learn a little bit more.
great quick tutorial, u just got a new fan, keep up the great work
Thanks Sameh!
Brilliant, thank you.!
This was my first ever try at the sculpt environment! Hopefully my little ghost will print out nice!
cheers.
Fantastic tutorial for my first intro to fusion 360 sculpting! Thank you so much!
Thanks! Fantastic way to get acquainted with sculpting. Would love to see how you use a box shape!
Great instructions on how to sculpt. Thanks for sharing! : )
What a great video, thanks so much. That was a great intro to some sculpting basics in a clean, clear and well done tutorial.
Another great video that has got me through my first attempt at sculpting ..just sending it to the printer as I type. Managed to follow along despite the new UI changes on F360 (it involved pausing the video a few times whilst I tried to find where stuff was)
great video! Thank you!
A great intro vid. Your Udemy course is excellent, I refer back to it every time I get away from Fusion 360 and need to brush up on how to get things done.
Thanks for an informative video !!
Needs more subscribers
nice. I will print one this halloween
thankyou :)
You're welcome Jason
Why don't i get it what do you right click at the 6:35 to get the whole chain.. I cannot get it or missed what do i need to click and how. Great tutorials man!
How can you round the corners at 1:46? When i click on the vertices, nothing happens. Great Video btw. I already sculpted a ghost and printed it :D
Hit "Delete" after selecting the vertices. Vladimir did mention that around 1:53, but it was easy to miss. If you turn on CC, you'll see where it says "click the leat". ;-)
Haha! I hope no one's looking for 'the leat' because I'm not sure which menu it would be under.
@@hoagytech I HAD THE SAME QUESTION. I heard CLICK THE LEAT. Like wtf is that. Thank you for asking and getting this Q answered!
Wow, thanks!
This is insanely helpful
More sculpting. I’m just about getting to grips with it, so more guidance would be much appreciated.
Hellooo!!! I don't undestand how are you done the round off of the rectangle. Which key are you press?
Very good tutorial
Hi Vladimir and everyone, 👋
Thank you for your videos.
Could one import an STL figure into the Fusion 360 Sculpt environment and manipulate it’s shape like you did the ghost 👻?
Thanks 🙏
Hi Casade, yes take a look at this video. Although I'm due for updating it.

I think something has changed in an update in fusion? or maybe my settings are different?
When I create the plane now, it is partitioned in a 2x2 grid with no option to enter specific grid numbers in a dialog box. Then when I enter the dimension on the pull, there are no arrows to pull to get the 5x5 grid? The only way I can get it to work is to adjust my grid to allow me to snap at 50x50mm and then pull out to get the 5x5 grid. Question? Does anyone know how to change this to a 5x5 grid after it has been pulled out and properly dimensioned to 50x50mm (instead of snapping to the grid)?
First ;)
Nice ghost
Thanks
How do you round off the corners in the minute 1:42? Thank you in advance
The only rounding I did was using the fillet tool and that was for the lights. Not sure exactly what you're pointing to in minute 1:42
굿 땡큐
How did you even get to sculpt I dont have it
Click on the Create Form icon in the Solid Toolbar at the top of your screen. It looks like a purple cube.
HELLO
HOW DO YOU RAY
