- Jack Nonato skate legend in the Philippines show me his art of a D.I.Y that he built almost a decade ago . Located on cebu island . This skatepark by the beach in the nature is a dream come true for all skaters . The name of the skatecamp is PALABOY . It was built with rock corals and concrete .you can sleep there and surround yourselft with nature and skatepark . I never in my life came across a place this before . That place is amazing. I can't believe he built it all him self, it looks so good, like a pro team has built it. The guy has some real skills when it comes to building skateparks. We could do with him in the town where I live to show them how its done.

Jack Nonato is one of the skate OGs in the Philippines. Great to see he's still at it. You should've seen the skateparks he built before. He had a movie house turned skatepark. He had a skate park as well before in Marikina.

I remember when I bought my first deck (it was a baker stakeboards deck), I bought it on Jack Nonato's skate shop in Manila and also he is the one who set up my grip tape on my deck. A really cool and nice guy.

Bakit hindi gamitan yan sa big skateboarding competition such a fcking good place though to use you can chill with a good accommodation and have a good balcony that you can watch skaters over there hoping na mapansin tong place ni Palabay tangina napaka gandang lugar para sa malakihang event andaming Sponsors na pwedeng mag ambagan dyan na malalaking companies to make a skate event baka dayuhin pa ng ibang lugar with a good beach spot nice place nature tapos solid na malaking skate rump na sobrang haba after 3 years sana mapansin to at gamitin

When I lived in Philippines early 2000s , jack had an indoor skate park around makati that looked like a very old cinema building , or some type of warehouse. He had his own skate shop & brand, I’d buy rip off CDs of big name skate videos. Everything at that time was new for me. He’s known for one-foot crooked grinds on rails.
