- Thank you all for watching my review on the Maybelline Super Stay Hybrid Powder Foundation. Add me on Instagram: AskCandace. This retails for $14.99 at Ulta Beauty. There are 16 shades in this collection. I purchased two shades 332 and 340. The formula is lightweight on the skin but it's not full coverage. It's a true medium coverage if you want a bit more coverage I would recommend applying a full coverage concealer. Maybelline needs to create more shades in this collection mixing the two shades didn't work for me. I love this video and how informative it is. Usually when I watch other foundation videos people always prime their face, use a bunch of products, the foundation and then top it off with more products and end up giving a not so accurate review, but thank God you did a real testing of just the foundation! And tested it in multiple occasions and multiple ways!!! Loved it 🥰

which is better maybelline powder foundation or Loreal powder foundation??
I think the sponge gave you more coverage, I saw someone apply this with a damp sponge, maybe give that a try too.
The finish looks good on you, but the color looks too yellow/olive, so maybe a different undertone would looks great on you!

Im impressed at the coverage for a powder. It wore so well too. Add a mattifying primer, like Paulas choice Shine Stopper, on the tzone, and a setting spray and i think this would be awesome. I always blot with a sponge, at least once a day, and add a little PC Shine stopper over the tzone again or a little blotting powder.
I used to wear liquid foundation for years because it covered so well. I was shocked when I first started to use different powders. They cover everything. I use different powders from Mac and then I use bare minerals for under my eyes or hard to cover areas like my freckles but I will never go back to liquid

I just looked up the foundation, that's ridiculous for the price. You are so right about the shades, you would benefit from a shade with a red undertone. Your skin tone is so beautiful

I have a couple silly questions.... I'm new to makeup and doing a horrible job.... what is the reasoning for foundation on the eye lids? Do you typically have oily skin or is that a side effect of the foundation? I really like that you use lower cost items, explain in detail and show so much detail. You are awesome
Putting foundation on eyelid makes eyeshadows last longer
Very thorough review 😀. I only disagree about blotting. I think its a must (I use a sponge and a mattifying primer to touch up). Makeup needs to be touched up, even if its just reapplying tinted lip balm.

If you use bronzer you could use the lighter one. A warm satin bronzer on the forehead, top of the cheeks and nose in a W shape, then a neutral bronzer on the contour of the jaw, and whatevers left on the brush with little pressure over the rest of the face. Itll make the powder 1-2 shades darker/warmer.

Ty Candace. I am in the market for a new foundation. Drugstore. Im not liking L’Oréal infallible 24h matte. It is ok, but seems to dry for me which is weird coz I’m oily or combo oily with more oily. So watching lots of ur older videos & trying to boil down what it is I want just in a base currently.

Yes ❤️ I live in a humid climate which doesn't help. MAC NC 45
I also really didn't like this product. If your skin is even slightly damp from cleansing/moisturizing it doesn't apply smoothly at all. It breaks apart easily even though it's talc-based.
Can you please review the new Tarte amazonian clay blurring powder foundation?
The powder foundation was disappointing 😢. I don't support Tarte Cosmetics ❤️
The shade range of this foundation looks concerning, maybelline shouldnt be doing what tarte did - do not release the product when you cant cater to all skin tones. I'd hate to wait for my shade to come up 'later'. I'm keen to try the formula as i do love powder based foundations, easy and light coverage, work for my skin. I think i will prefer the sponge side application, but you look great anyway, thanks for the review ❤

340 is a disaster 😂 it is probably for someone with red undertone. The valentino mascara is the bombbbbb by the way. I love the volume! Maybe you can do a couple of mascara review.

You love blush huh 😂 although I do know that when wearing blush you can put as much as you want on. After a while it will blend into your skin and look really good. I honestly couldn’t tell that it wasn’t on your neck either
