🐶 😱 What pet hives from an allergic reaction look like are:
- Red raised welts and lumps
- In the groin, on their abdomen or belly, and all along their back and down the body
- they're face could be swollen too- eyes are swollen
- Even their paws could be red and swollen
- They may be very itchy and uncomfortable too
💊 Over the counter treatment includes:
1. Benadryl pills - 1mg per lb
2. Zerteck pills - 1mg per lb
3. Topical corticosteroid cream and Sprays - apply this twice a day onto the area
4. Bathing your dog with Zymox shampoo , sold at petstores or online to keep their skin clean and cool down the flare ups from any bacterial or yeast infections.

5. Lastly you can put some coconut oil onto their belly where the welts are and this is safe. Coconut oil is soothing and has antibacterial properties.
- Don’t us any other creams they aren’t safe for dog's! Such as Aloe or Burn creams for humans, they can have Toxic ingredients in them for our pets.

Can i use cortisone cream for my dog skin is dry with red dots
Yes you can just make sure the dog and the area of the spots are clean ,then apply a thin layer of the cream but keep and eye out for your dog not to ingest the cream. I hope this helps you and your pup thank you for watching😊.
