I think it hilarious how people always got working advice. I been retired three years & about once a month people give me ideals about re-entry into the workforce I always tell them I like my current employer with 365 vacation days. I resell on ebay for my extra money my pension/insurance package covers my household expenses.
Based on the people who experimented with scheduling vs live listing that Dave has mentioned told him to build a draft bank, scheduling listings doesn't have the same effect. I heard him mention that and stopped scheduling, and I have seen a significant increase in sales after I started live listing from my draft bank.

@XanderBroeffle That would be a great thing to know. I kept listing at least 1-2 things a day while I was in away mode last week just in case. I don't want to lose my momentum. I'm pretty small time so 3 sales in 2 days when I got back on Monday was a big deal for me after being "away" for a week.
Had to take my husband to ER on Saturday after his blood pressure plummeted from dehydration after doing yard work. We have lived in Sarasota for 40 years. Never experienced heat like this before. Stay safe!

If you like fishing or outdoors just getting off the grid... we just took a week trip in Canada Fly in Kabeelo Lodge. Fly you in, drop you off and pick you up. Outhouse, solor lighting, cabin style. Awesome trip.

Dave, don't listen to anyone telling you to get a real job. You are doing a real job and doing it well. And you are your own boss. You make your own hours, your own decisions, take time off when you want without permission, and have no commute. Sure, there are down sides to it, but so do regular jobs have down sides. Just ask anyone who is unhappy in their job. And there are many. What you are doing isn't easy and not for everybody, but neither are most regular jobs easy. At least you don't have a boss looking over your back every minute.
Vacation mode kills your store. Just experienced it. And I had 5 listings scheduled daily throughout the week. I believe I listed 40 and still tanked…. Some in morning, noon and night…. Sales stopped. Until Friday I turned off vacation mode and sales came in Immediately 😮. Next time I will change my shipping handling…
Dave, if you do list drafts every day when you travel, and pick the same time if possible, should be easy to go out and have the day off after. That makes sense! Also there’s a lot of free things to do when you travel. Trips to the beach to swim and snorkel, hikes, bike rides etc. would be a lot of fun other than spending big bucks at theme parks. Just think, relaxing on the beach, nothing to do, kids playing in the water, you guys reading. No lineups, no money going out, just money coming in from your store 🤞🏻and best of all, NO CROWDS!!! Do it. 🎉❤

I went on vaca last month for 8 days. No phones just biking at the beach. I scheduled 8 items a day to go live for the entire 8 days to keep my store alive. Only had around 30 orders in 8 days which isn't the best but still fine!
I've lived in Florida all my life ( grew up in Daytona Beach and currently live in Orlando ) this heat is not normal! Every summer it gets more intense and the humidity it is unbearable lately - you have every right to complain lol

You'd never survive this humidity. Hubby did business in Arizona and he said it was so dry you don't sweat, whereas here you walk from your car to the front door and you literally are drenched!! It is so hot and humid it is hard to breathe at times, lol.

We went to Dollywood about 5 years ago in July and it was INSANLEY HOT. Its nothing like Disney where they have the cold air-conditioning blowing on you in the waiting ques/ lines. They had some BIG fans that just pushed the air around but overall it was miserably hot. I rather go to Universal or Disney in July then go back there in the summer.

I sell on ebay and whenever I list over 250 items when they relist thru ebay - ebay charges me 35cents per relisting - how can I avoid that charge? Like your videos and I have been subscribed for a while.
If you don't have a store, you have 250 free listings per month. Those 250 listing include new listing as well as relistings. When you go over that 250, you get charged the 35 cents per listing. You have to upgrade to a store if you don't want to get charged the 35 cents per listing. Cheapest store is $27.95 per month if you pay monthly or $21.95 if you sign up for a year.

Me too. 😤🤣. People need to just get a life. Complain away. Covid RUINED me and I’m extremely heat intolerant. No theme parks… no cookouts or beach…. My blood vessels dilate and don’t constrict anymore like they are supposed to. BP goes down and heart rate goes up even with meds. I can barely get from my car to the store without almost passing out. Lots of youngish people are getting this condition. People need to be quiet and mind their business. You never know what someone else is going through. You just don’t know how the heat makes someone feel.
I'd love for all those people that said something about the heat to come live here!!! That would shut their freaking mouths up!!! We have to try and do outside work before like 8:30 a.m. or else you die 😂 Even our garage is a literal oven during the day.

Hey Dave, schedule your listings to go live, 10 each day. Works great and eBay doesn't charge for it anymore.
so again the old rules on ebay don't work as well as they used to - after a few days your old listing will get stale and you have to address them
My sales have been really slow lately. Hopefully they pick up soon.
