I started collecting lego star wars in 2007 i think i stopped around early 2012 (had a lot to do with the price to what you are getting, the latest at-te is a good example its tiny compared to the 2008 one i have both so ik the 2008 one is huge) but the feels form this i really wanna go back to that time :(

It's interesting to see the evolution of lego weaponry. I had the old ARC-170, and I thought the bomber door was ingenious, but now they have launching missiles and all sorts of stuff.
I bought the small sets that came with 4 characters. I collected the old Phase 1 clones. I got really confused with the Phase 2 clones, and they stopped making Phase 1 clones. I liked the old ones better, so I stopped buying the star wars sets altogether
Stupid spring-loaded missiles, stupid stud launchers. I hated those things, the missiles would hardly work most of the time and those studs would get lost really easily on the floor, until you stood on them at least.
So many memories. Seeing these come on Cartoon Network and telling my mom to watch them and she would always tell me that my birthday wasn’t far away. Then when I got them she would build them and me and my dad would play the battle of Hoth for hours
I was having a bad day, but this made me REALLY happy to see all these old commercials again. It’s funny to see that I had almost all of the sets that were in the commercials, so they really worked on making me want to buy the product!
I just bought one of those $18/18€ SW figurines with working blasters and all that, Phasm to be exact. No regrets at fucking all, LEGO rules! The proportions piss me off, though. Why are the legs so long?
Oh god the nostalgia My first set of legos I've ever had was both the Star Wars V-Wing and A-Wing. God how much I remember those days how I loved the prequels...at the time. The Legos never bore me.
