Triple G will show what true Mexican fighting is all about. I'm not sold on that counterpunching from Canelo. Triple G will go through it without much difficulty. Prediction: Triple G by KO in the 6th or 7th round. Who knows maybe sooner.
Canelo couldn't k.o Rocky Hatton's brother, an old Sugar Shane, a walking punching bag who didn't fight back in Chavez Jr., Trout, or a much smaller Cotto, got completely dominated by Mayweather ...why is everyone so big on this guy again?

There's a difference between great fighters and popular fighters. There's been many good, popular fighters in history, then when they face greats they get their asses kicked. In my opinion canelo is one of them. He's about to get his ass kicked by a great fighter for the second time

GGG has been hit, hard... and didn't wobble and kept his cool. Canelo has been wobbled (by Cotto's brother) but that was a long time ago. The thing is, Canelo has yet to prove how good a chin he has and he definitely doesn't keep his cool when getting hit, he's too proud and wants to retaliate immediately. This doesn't work in his favor. Also, everybody seems to overlook how GGG imposes the rhytm and manages the distance, those are two pretty important factors. This, along with the punching power and volume of punches is why I think GGG will come on top, and by KO.

I think we'll see the version of GGG that we saw against Lemieux- heavy on the jab, controlling distance, picking his power shots wisely & hesitant to mix it up.
I just don't know what version of Canelo we'll see.
GhostTech1 I think you might be right. Canelo I think will start cautiously, looking to move and counter. But if GGG imposes the power jab early he will start to break canelo down, also I feel like canelo likes to control the pace of his fights in order to reserve energy. In this fight I don't think canelo will be able to control the pace and will tire down the stretch
I also think the smart foam triple g uses in his gloves will give him an advantage.

Freddie is sounding soon much clearer when he speaks than in yrs previous.Im very glad for him and whatever he has been doing to treat the Parkinsons, the results are pretty amazing at least to me..I used to need subtitles to understand him before... best wishes to him
There isn't a size difference or much of it, but GGG's power is not ordinary, and the way he lands his punches are unique.

I love both of these guys. It's going to be a war, especially in the late rounds. If GGG starts slow, Canelo may establish his advantage in winning the first 3 rnds. I agree w? Freddie, GGG needs to start fast, but can he? I think body work between these two, will be very important. On the otherhand, Canelo will never have been hit so hard than on Sat. nite. Can he with stand the power? Canelo with the speed and age advantage, will throw more punches in this fight and most likely land more. A concern regarding GGG is that he has looked vulnerable in his last 2 fights vs. lesser fighter's. Some even think he lost (not me). His age may be catching up to him. --- My prediction: Canelo in a close or split decision.

I don't believe too that GGG could KO Canelo w/ a hardest chin, quickest boxer. In their coming rematch Canelo will win by points but aging GGG getting slower
Did he just compare Khan's one-punch resistance to GGG's? The chinniest natural welterweight compared to the most absurdly iron-chinned natural middleweight... The difference could not be bigger. A lightweight could KO Khan, whereas cruiserweights would have trouble KOing GGG.. It's just a comedic difference.

This will be a one sided fight , This is another Amir Khan vs Canelo but Flipped flopped with GGG. GGG baited this fight to get a bigger pay day if not the biggest payday in his career. I was right about the Tyson vs HolyField 1, and believe me this fight will be a stoppage by 8-9 round . GGG has fought in the Middle-weight class his whole life and Canelo has only 3 fights in middle weight division. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure the outcome, yes GGG will get hit and maybe rocked but if Canelo is smart he will protect his core ribs to the Best he can on fight night becouse GGG will attack to weaken his Defense to drop Canelo Alvarez hands for the knockout blow that will end the fight.
GGG have powerful puncher but in their fight if Canelo hits him he gets slower esp. In thier 3 last rds. So GGG can KO only those slow boxers.
