If you make the fringe long enough, you could braid the two ends together and make a cowl!🥰

Hi Daisy thanks for the tutorial and that colour pattern is the colour of Kenyan flag, the only colour missing is white to separate the other colours, I am going to crochet it, I love the fringe makes it look neat and lovely ❤
