What can I do with sublimation that I CAN NOT do with white toner DTF?

The main thing you can do with sublimation that white toner DTF can not is dye your garments/substrates. With sublimation, the ink is absorbed into the fabric or onto the coating of the substrate. With white toner DTF, the toner will sit on top of your fabric and on top of your hard substrate, hence, there will be a feel to it.

So if I want to print a regular whiskey/rocks glass with no sublimation coating, I have to do white toner? Thanks!

Hi there! Correct, for hard substrates that are not coated for sublimation, we recommend White Toner technology.

How do you feel about the uninet white toner printer? There seem to be a LOT of gently used ones for sale so I worry that it’s either not a good printer or it’s difficult to use. Ty

Hi there! It's definitely a great printer to expand the substrates you offer. However, there is a significant learning curve on these machines, but definitely do-able if determined!

I thought white toner is different than dft?

White Toner DTF and Traditional DTF both print on a transparent transfer sheet. Traditional DTF used powder adhesive, white white toner DTF uses a sheet adhesive.
