Excellent tip with putting the paper in it for easy peel. I’d be wondering if that was possible but petrified to try as I’d be worried about ruining the heat press.
The rub helps it stick better and evenly. If I start to see a separation I put that edge back down and rub that pulling puce again and pull from the other direction. 90% of the time it corrects the separation.
Hi! awesome video! I have a few questions please answer this ! All this process is done with light pressure ? Do you always rasterize even if its a small logo ? Im getting my holes clogged with glue any idea this is happening ? PLEASE answer and i will subscribe!
Hi there! White toner printing will always require firm pressure throughout the process. If it is a small logo (3.5" or so) it should be fine without rasterizing it. If there's a possibility of knocking out some colors, we would recommend that for a softer feel. As far as the clogging, we would need more information. If you purchased your unit through our company, please send a photo to our technical support team and they can assist further :) You may send it to: support@heatpressnation.com.
Hello, Jared! I read some of the comments and see that @ZivergeGaming has the same concern that I do about the LuminRIP software as far as experiencing difficulty printing white within the images. I also contacted Customer Support and they stated that it depends on how the image was setup and that we should use for best results the PNG and TiF/TiFF files in which I do but cannot get white to print. Now I'm ready to get rid of my Ricomah Printer. There isn't really much training or videos on that subject, I agree with @ZivergeGaming.
Hi Jared. I only see Digital Heat FX options for the print mode. Is there a way that I can import the Forever print mode options. Do you perhaps have the Cadlink pro version of print optimizer?
love your videos, thank you, question. i have the Luminaris 200, and everything seems to peel fine except the color white and not sure why and can not seem to find information as to what would cause this.
This video shows our best tips for getting a proper A+B marriage. Of course, you'll also want to make sure you're following the specific instructions for your paper and be sure you're using a quality heat press as well.
@@HeatPressNation i have and along with all videos they gave, the ricoma printer and press bundle they gave free training so registered for that, everything is perfect except the white color in my images peels off. thank you for the reply
Which of these printers is recommended? I want a printer that'll print colors and white. 1. OKI White Toner Printer Pro 7411WT 2. OKI White Toner Printer Pro 8432WT
I was thinking of getting a I color white toner printer but the cost of the white toner cartridge just white is 500$ the paper is also 175$ do you think the cost of ink and paper will go down in the future or would a DTF printer be a better option
We don't really foresee the costs of toner going down any time soon. A DTF printing setup is going to have a much higher startup cost than a white toner laser printer. If you're trying to choose the more affordable route, white toner is still the way to go.
Yes, definitely! You can use white toner for light garments with transfer media like FOREVER Laser Light (heat.press/foreverLL) or TheMagicTouch TTC 3.1 (heat.press/ttc31).
Hi there! By white paper do you mean the B-sheet with the adhesive on it? If so, it must be peeled immediately while hot to ensure it does not cool and set.
I keep getting a little portion of the print not adhering to the b side. It’s a full Color print. Could it be my regular toner from the canon brand? It seems the whites do fine.
The most common reason for a portion of the print not adhering to the B-sheet is that it cooled faster than the rest of the sheet. This can be caused by a portion of the print lifting, the press not evenly distributing heat, or waiting too long to peel the A & B sheets apart. I just purchased the 16x20 swing away, with surepressure, (so yes a lot of $) and the sure pressure dial doesn’t work. The last digit just spins and never changes any of the other digits. So my pressure is at 9988.X no matter how many times I spin it. Anything before the decimal point, never changes.
It’s not technically rasterization.. the graphic is already in a raster form, vs a vector form. It’s more determining the right halftone for the image that creates the printable image
We don't carry Canon or Ghost Toner products, so unfortunately we're not able to make a recommendation. If anyone reading this has experience with these products, please share your recommendation!
With the particular graphic …the eagle…. Since it’s such small individual areas, what would happen with just the black knockout? That would break up the image and open up areas to soften print.
These white toner printers print full color, including white. Many of them are CMY+W, so they'll print the full color graphic using CMY and then print an underbase using W. This white underbase allows the printed graphics to be seen when placed on black/dark garments.
Great video! Your customer service people are also amazing, and I’m leaning towards buying the 711WT printer. Regarding the Forever Dark paper, are there any negatives of using it for all shirt colors, including light/white shirts? I saw online that there’s a Forever Light option, but I’d prefer not getting two types of paper if Forever Dark can cover my bases.
No, there's no downside to using the Forever Dark on white/light-colored tees. It's slightly thicker than the Forever Light, BUT it's a lot more durable. Lots of shops use it for both light and dark garments.
Do you have link to Rip software? Also if the package of transfer has been open but closed for a year and try to use it, is it still good. I bought forever dark and the transfer on garment and some on clear paper
Thank you so much for giving back to your communities 😊❤
Thank you for your kind words! Here to help and educate :)

Does the white toner printer ink come separate when buying the ink for it
Hi there! Typically, white toner printers come with a starter toner set.

I am having trouble with getting mu printer to print and it was. I have the luminaris 200 amd I can't figure out what I did wrong
We would recommend reaching out to Ricoma directly for assistance troubleshooting your Luminaris printer.
Will this program work with Luminaris 200? I hate the LuminRip program
Hi there! We would recommend reaching out to your supplier about this.

Yes, we actually tried that. It looked great. But it wasn't as soft as doing both the black knockout and adding holes.
Would those settings still be used with like a grey shirt? Or not just the blackout feature?
Hi could you tell me how many times i can wash a dtf printed tshirt?
Sorry, we don't have that figure available.
What RIP software are you using? I didn't get RIP software with my printer
We're using the Digital Factory v.10 for white toner printers - heat.press/wdtrip
