    … thank you for having the zeal to have shared this… on the way home in the middle of no where and this happened to a 2014 CX-5…stopped… took out the iPad and googled… your video come up… and you described the issue to the point… and the fix… the stress from worry of the potential financial expense was put away… and all that it has left me with is the pleasure of having the knowledge of the problem and the simple fix to what seemed a big problem. Thanks again.

    I don’t have a 2.w but a 2.5 2016.5 cx-5 and my lights came on like you’ve mentioned. I lost acceleration badly. I panicked a bit but did my best to remain calm. This happened while I was driving on the highway on I-10. I pulled over to buckees gas station, filled up and popped the hood. Searched around for what you mentioned but didn’t see it, duhhh I have a 2.5L looks different. I looked at the intake and seen this tubing that is usually connected to the pipe was off the tubing. I just plugged it back in and connected the battery back and bam, all the lights were gone. Phewwww luckily it was a simple fix.

    Hi boss, before I watched your video I already replaced (as mazda suggested) the MAF sensor. Turns out this morning the triple devil indicator lights again. Will try to check (yet) another sensor from your video

    Good video, where can one buy this updated exhaust pressure sensor? Part number? Improved over the original plastic oem part?

    Question...if you had used the extension lead which I presume comes with the kit and not plugged in the original lead, would the new exhaust pressure regulator have worked straight away?
    Have a 2015 cx5 and have exactly the same lights coming on

    • @tukzarauto6227
      @tukzarauto6227  2 года назад +2

      I don’t believe if it would, I didn’t have the extension lead connected at first, the wiring diagram on the connection from the original wiring harness is different to the extension which is supplied with the pressure regulator.
      You need to connect the extension lead. Hope it helps

      My 2015 was Doing the exact same thing. We checked for the code that it through and it was P0303 which was a misfire and it ended up to be one of the four coil thingies that are by the fuses. If you need to know the name I can ask my husband

    2016 cx-5 has this issue too. 4WD light on as well indicating the AWD is not working. 113k km, piece of junk if you ask me. Nothing but problems after 5 yr warrantee.. this is not cool when you are driving on the highway.

      … just happened to me last night on the highway too in a 2014 CX-5 Sport FWD with 278,000 miles just after midnight 90 miles away from home and any help… stopped and googled and watched this… how relieving because, here was a diagnosis to what seemed a big problem and the worry of the financial expense was allayed. He discribed the issue exactly… very grateful for his generosity to share, without which, presenting the car to a technician would leave me to his whim if he is not a morally imbued person.

      @@mounbakko5871 did it fix it? What he describes here?

    • @mounbakko5871
      @mounbakko5871 2 года назад +2

      @@angelbelieves7496 no., it did not… for one, the location of his MAF and mine turned out to be different… was finally able to identify where mine was and cleaned it… second, my symptoms were even of a more severe nature than just the MAF which I was able to identify and fix.
      It should be stated that his posting that video is commendable just for finding the time to do it and secondly it spurred me on to discover what my exact issues were… which I did myself… spark plugs and ignition coil… a $700 + job at a shop... also identified and cleaned the MAP… all the knowledge acquired was priceless and the savings, immense on top of $69 for a set of tools… ratchet wrench set.
      When you go to the shop without knowledge, you are bound to be fodder… there is no escaping it. Things that should cost little , balloon to exorbitant levels… what is the cost of four spark plugs, even at your local auto parts store? How long does it take to take them out and put in new ones? What is the labour charge? This is where the dishonesty takes hold with costs exceeding $700. Will be glad to share more with you f needed. Be informed.
