Mike Young one of the greatest explorers of our time, thank you for letting people like me that's too scared to actually cave dive see what you see it's just absolutely amazing keep doing what you're doing and stay safe. 👍
As a local to the area, my family and I really appreciate your videos! My kids thought it was the coolest to actually see down into the cave that they have stood at the mouth of many times wondering how deep it really goes! Thank you to you and your team as well as condolences for your friend!
There must be a constant flow of silt in there - I would have thought all that flow would make it clear - but I don't know the first thing about diving - but I am eternally fascinated - Thanks Mike
First one!!! Gotta say mike I love what you do and I found you threw woody and Gus dive talk! Keep doing more uploads even if there not a big dive, we would love to see you just diving in the ocean giving some voice over every now and then! Keep up the exploration brother!
@@mikeyoung8968 I think I know that Gus is going to be doing something for you, but there are quite a few of us who would be more than happy to edit your videos to a high standard
Thanks for taking us on the cave exploration with you. It was so quiet on the rebreathers too - peaceful. Look forward to seeing your next adventure there.
Great video Mike, my closest experience in a cave was going to the sign (120' at the time) in Blue Springs, which I did a couple of times. The last time I did it was when I was done helping an open water class during my Rescue Diver course. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us!
Thanks for the videos Mike. I am a rec diver and I have enjoyed the kind of diving I would never have the nerve to do. Would a ROV be out of the question because of the constriction. FYI I live about 20 miles from Roaring River!
Wow that was cool, The vis went south quick though. I can’t get over how quiet the CCR‘s are. The more I see them in action, the more I want to ditch open circuit. Everything goes right I hope to start my journey towards CCR certification next spring. Once I get proficient with it, then it will be time to start working towards the cave CERT.
Mike young the myth the man the legend ! great video & thx for sharing this one with us stay safe mike bro the head mounted camera makes me feel I'm down there with u amazing footage
Do you guys use LEDs or LEPs for your dive lights? Also who manufactures them? I'm not really interested in caving personally but I love the logistics of it, what are some major manufacturers that you trust your life with?
@S. M. we can but when it starts to rain the flow comes up and we can’t get though the restriction. Since we have a team that travel from all over the country. We decided to do a longer work trip instead of weekend trips. So we will wait till it’s the dry season
When will you discuss Eric's passing? The unspoken "code of silence" in the diving community is why some lessons are never shared for others to learn from. If you have discussed it then please let me know where.
Good question. It’s not so much a code of silence as it is a raw wound. We lost a brother and it hurts. We do need to discuss in detail what and how it happened.
amazing as always, if possible kindly upload your video from the Blue hole where your diving partner passed away, and did you ever reach the siphon in the devils hole which they speculate leads to an underwater lake, look forward to your next upload

How great.... Mike having a nice quiet day at the office ❤
Love ya Mike!!!!! Youre a Legend!!! Love all your work and videos. I love how you compare it to being in a chapel. Youre 1 in a million Mike

Mike is a legend. I love that you guys are exploring these caves outside of Florida, i didnt even know there was water filled caves in Missouri.

Unbelievable! No clue why you men do this but it is fascinating! 550 feet! Incredible skills
You know the dive is serious business when your buddy's tank is marked with *620*

the head mounted camera makes me feel I'm down there with u amazing footage
Wow to read about an earthquake after the dive would freak me out ! Glad you’re all safe
Its a shame that the visibility was so poor for you guys, looking forward to more content
What happens if that green line snaps? Do you just follow your air bubbles and hope for the best.........
👍keep on keepin' on mike
It's so therapeutic to watch...but not for me, good work mike
Great stuff
Mike, what modifications did you make to the sidewinder to go deeper than 90 meters?
Much larger canisters.
Do you guys use LEDs or LEPs for your dive lights? Also who manufactures them? I'm not really interested in caving personally but I love the logistics of it, what are some major manufacturers that you trust your life with?
Mike has Orca lights, I have Big Blue lights, Not sure what Jon uses.
@@randallpurdy8708 Thank you very much sir, Technical gear is fascinating.
No way to map anything, with that sort of vis. When is the next attempt?
Next summer when it gets dry again

That bail out bottle sounds like it’s leaking at a rather steady rate lol and the bubbles 🫧… did that worry you at all
It was leaking. I have switched out that regulator for a better one
@@mikeyoung8968 your a beast brother keep up the great work and stay safe
Wow who is the guy without gloves at this depth??
Jon. He like the freedom of movement. When you are active the blood flow keeps you warm. He puts on gloves for decompression
do u ever use glowsticks to light up the caves? and do they work good?
No they don’t really work that well

What happened to eric??
Need a play by commentary to this video to understand a little of what's going on.
You are one brave mofo lol. There no way you could pay me a million dollars to do this stuff. But I like to watch haha..
Whats that movie player? Id like that for deco xD
Iphone in divevolk case

I didn’t shoot any video on that dive.If there was I don’t think the family would like for it to be shown.
And only weeks later a diver died in this cave
The video looks
lol @11:55
