Ive only ever nuzlocked Fire Red before, and recently I watched Jan play Run and Bun and I felt the urge to give it a shot mostly because of the Endless Candy, Togglable Repel, and enforced level caps making it very accessible to players. I couldnt get past Brawley with Hardcore Nuzlocke rules, but I'm continuing the game anyways because of how cool the synergies and fights have been, u rarely get an enemy that has a bad team, its either a great team or a very niche team with a strategy that'll get u hyped up when u realize how to crack it. I'm currently walled by Chelle even without HC Nuzlocke rules, and I have to say this game has inspired me to create my own ROM hack. Incredible game, so easy to get started with, so fulfilling to get past each encounter. Huge props to Dekzeh for this fantastic game, and boo to the haters who are salty they cant Nuzlocke it properly and just cry about it all over reddit and twitter

Have you seen Pokemon Elite Redux? It's also pokemon and mechanics of gen 8, but every pokemon has perfect ivs and 3 to 4 abilities at once. I'm playing casually and it's had some really hard times on the hardest setting and second hardest level cap. I think it would be interesting to see you tackle it if you're interested.

Picking up your starter is optional, because in a different building, they just give you a Celebi. Do I have to choose either a starter or the Celebi, with the thinking that “That’s my encounter for this ‘Route’”, or can I pick them both up?
