You are so calm and that's what l need to watch. Like you said "lt's only fabric; it's only thread". Thank you for your 'down home' version of relaxing sewing.
Definitely a man's quilt! Great job! I have a good friend, who was the Army in Iraq, would love this! ....Just as I was typing this, he called. He knew exactly who I was talking about. You are famous among the military and a great example!
I love watching your videos! I took my oldest sons t-shirts and cut them up a long time ago and just haven't been brave enough to make a quilt with them. This video makes me feel brave enough to give it a try! Thank you! And your love affair with the other machine just cracks me up!
Just found your video as I was scrolling. Love your instructions!!! My nephew is at Camp Pendleton right now. He has one more year to retire!! He has been on the Amphibious Vehicles! So sad for the families!!! Keep quilting!!
I love that quilt. Great job. That state fabric is perfect. It mirrors the theme of the shirts representing different states and has just the right colors.
Love that idea, will have to steal some t shirts when he is not looking. He hates parting with them even when they look like they are falling to pieces, adorable man of mine, old fogey! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Hello , I'm a new subscriber, I had to share your videos with my Mom, she has fallen in love with your channel. I enjoy watching you and your family...great job!!!!
HI Mark, you can always use a pressing sheet, use an old bed sheet to protect your iron from the glue. Just a thought and tip for anyone who might like it.
them pups just want more show time lol Thanks for your service and encouragement to other fellows to the craft, respect from an army brat turned quilter!!
Well, I purchased a small rinky-dink #Sewing Machine off line. It ended up being smaller than I expected but I think that it is going to serve me well as a beginner. I have a lot of ideas in my head running around and I need to stop and figure it out. But like you say it’s only fabric it’s only thread. I love you guys and I can’t wait till Sunday
I like your videos. Sorry to say your not too fussy about stitching straight. It will get you into trouble one day. Also I think you should iron the joining strips before you sew - that would help with your stitching. I'm not an avid quilter but do make charity quilts for Africa - yes it does get cold in Africa. Homeless people could do with nice warm quilts as well. I've also made crib quilts for some-day grandchildren. I used to belong to a modern quilt guild but those ladies were pretty off and in cliques so I didn't fit in. They love it when a man joins. I think quilting might be good for service people with PTSD. What do you think?
Same machine as you (mainly because I saw you enjoying it) - just keep an eye on threading through that last guide wire looping around the top of the needle post. Your thread is missing it in the video, and I've done that any number of times just the same. It can make the tension inconsistent, and if it escapes the next guide up (which without something pulling it back it can do) it sometimes makes a snarl or breaks.
Mark, you're doing a great job, and the quilt is beautiful. My late husband was a Marine, Viet Nam service in 1968-69, DaNang and the dmz. Thank you for your service sir💝 Semper Fi
So happy to see you back Mark, Love watching you make quilt blocks and the Quilts themselves. I am hoping to make 2 T-Shirt Quilts for my niece and nephew for Christmas this year, not sure I can pull it off but I am sure going to try. Your Love Affair with "Bernina" so adorable. I loved hearing the story from the beginning I started to laugh so hard I almost fell off my chair. I very much enjoy the way you explain this so very simply, it's fantastic. God Bless you and your family, stay safe, healthy and cool.
Your quilts are really nice! I had stumbled on your channel when I did my peg board on a budget! Did you make your own crafting table ? If so any pointers
My dog likes to lay on every single quilt I make. I think maybe she thinks they are a bed for her! In the beginning of the video you did a back stitch and said don't judge me ...I have had a lot of quilters that say you don't need to back stitch, but one of my friends said yes, always back stitch because the beginning and end is the weaker part of the quilt and if you back stitch, the quilt will last longer. I ALWAYS back stitch.
I really love that state fabric. Your wife was spot on!

Hello my friend! I’ve missed and need your skill techniques. What kind of interfacing do you use?
Your quilts are really nice! I had stumbled on your channel when I did my peg board on a budget! Did you make your own crafting table ? If so any pointers
I also have assistants that check my work when I lay it out on the floor.
Darn Mrs. Marine.
