Thank you for posting this! Everything worked for me until the last part where you recorded audio from the MX to convert the MIDI to a single audio track. I have my MX88 selected as my ASIO driver, but I'm not getting an audio signal from it. Any ideas?

appreciate the demo....but it was a bit confusing especially for a beginner....will you do more like this for recording with MX?

Can you please make another video on how to connect the MX88 with cubase AI 10.5? I'm still not understand properly about the connection. I ended up recording 2 tracks (channel 1 and 2) as MIDI with proper MX sound, but when record the 3rd or 4th tracks (connect to MIDI part/channel 3 or 4), no sound heard and messed up. Also thr metronome sounds weird bcoz thr Steinberg metronome sound doesn't appear, only if I select MX sound, which use one of the midi channel (weird sound to use as a metronome)... Help please.

I bought an MX61. Is Cubase and Steinberg already installed in the keyboard ?

I for some reason experience weird behaviour with Cubase. The Yamaha MX88 shows up with 4 midi interfaces. When I select Yamaha Midi1 as source and Midi1 as out, it doesn't play the Yamaha. When I switch the out to Yamaha Midi2 for some weird reason it's controlling the Roland FA08.
If I select the Roland FA08 as the Out on the Yamaha Midi1 in, it doesn't play anything. I have no idea how to setup up host ID on the Yamaha because I assume the Yamaha and the roland are both on Host ID 17.

Why would you put the important part of the video in such a small window :(

I hope someone will help me on this, and I'm not good with wording so bear with me here.
Say I have a Yamaha MX49, and I use a USB for MIDI. However, I don't hear any sound when recording, even though there is MIDI data on the recording. I can hear sounds coming from VSTs well, but I want to use the MX49 presets. Any help?

You can record audio via USB if you set the MX as an Audio input device on your DAW

You never give instructions on how to access Cubase once you connect to iOS...🤷🏾
