They’re always quite generous with the amount of herbs/salts/whatnot in these boxes. You never receive just a tiny vial or minuscule bag of it but get a good amount, enough for whatever ritual is on the grimoire pages but also to stock up. It’s honestly very nice, they could probably have gotten away with skimping on it but they don’t.
So I screencapped and did a reverse image search on the card, and they came up as the Llewellyn Ancient Italian Tarot. Couldn't find many pics of them, so you'll have to double check me on that.

I can tell the cloth is soft silk by the way it sines under the light, some patches are lighter & others are darker. The darker bits are the fibes pushes away & lighter ones are the natrual resting place the fibers wear origonaly woven.
I don't remember where I learned it from (maybe a person who worked at a candle store) but smelling the inside of the lid of a candle or anything scented in a container is like a pro tip to smell it with out being overpowered by the smell and for me it's also helped not get thing on my nose 😅 I'm soo not careful or gentle with things!! Also looove those nails everytime 😍 💕
if you put your alter cloth in a tub and pour boiling water over it the wax melts and floats to the top and hardens as the water cools, might be able to save it.

I use to hate lavender too but I had to use a lot of it when making candles and sprays for people now im immune to it. I prefer to mix it with other scents to make it smells better, but I love the way lavender look.
Tip for getting candle wax out of (altar) cloths: take some paper kitchen towels, and some real woven! (Not knitted) cloths, and place them as follows: woven cloth(like a tea towel or hand towel) than two pieces of paper towels, than the waxed cloth, than another two paper towels, and finish off with the woven cloth again. Than use your iron on hot setting (not max, no steam!) To softly iron out all the wax, slowly does it, it will come out when melted, and go onto the paper towels. Repeat if needed to get out more wax with fresh paper towels.
Nice video! The tarot deck is I believe from Lo Scarabeo the Ancient Italian Tarot. I guess it's supposed to draw inspiration from Italian playing cards used for games like Scopa and Briscola. If I remember correctly the first tarot was based on those and similar cards played. I think you can just google Italian playing cards for that. The sword card is usually depicted as swords in their scabbards, that are stripe coloured blue, yellow and red. The swords on the side are usually one sword, as in go from top to bottom, the red square in the middle is usually part of the scabbard design, not an element dividing the swords. The sword in the middle is the only one not in it's scabbard, and usually blue in colour. In this deck they seem to be divided into two sets (one up, one down), like a mirror image. Artistic licence perhaps, or taken from a different or older game card set that is not as popular today? :D

I've been with the witches box for awhile now, and sometimes they're really great, but I canceled after the Feb box. It just didn't feel like $75 worth of stuff to me. :/
@@MelsDivination haha right! I actually paused my membership after the December box (which was awesome) but Feb was my second planetary box and it was even less stuff than the venus box. I was like absolutely not. 😤 So I have the witch's moon on the way ☺️
@@jamaalandre I did an unboxing in October on my channel. I was super excited- after watching a BUNCH of videos. And Was so confused as I signed up in the timeframe in September to get the tea box from Olivia, and ended up with the October box. And I still felt even with the handmade item- It wasn't worth the money because all the other stuff could be bought cheaper elsewhere. Or- there was a bunch of stuff I've never used. I was disappointed.

Wow these boxes are such duds. I can't believe how they've changed. They used to do much better boxes, ones with beautiful beautiful things. 4 jars of Bath salts? Goodness I would've been pissed off if I had spent that amount of money plus the crazy shipping to the UK just to get 4 jars of bloody Bath salts! The second one was better but still looks very very sparse. I get with covid that there has maybe been some issues but wow. Those boxes are worth less then half those costs. I'm no longer jealous of people who get these boxes anymore. 😂

I love these videos and I love your content, I’ve been a follower for a while now. But I do have to ask after watching a few of these unboxing videos - aren’t these witch boxes a commodification of ancient practices? They seem so western and the making and sending out of the boxes seem to be using capitalistic mechanisms. It does not seem to be consistent with ancient practices of witchcraft, but of course I may be wrong about this. What are your thoughts on this?
