I disagree with Old Farmers Almanac I do not think there's going to be a hurricane going to Florida in late August that might not trend hopefully probably going to turn to the east and be a fish storm or go to the Gulf I know old Farmers Almanac is wrong he's deeply wrong.
@lazarorivero9143 Everyone has an opinion. Let's hope yours is right. Otherwise, you could be putting people in harms way. Too bad you don't have evidence
@@weathermanplus well from last year Old Farmer's Almanac didn't mention a hurricane coming to Florida last hurricane season and I checked August and it said thunderstorms cooler and unfortunately we did get a hurricane in Florida last hurricane season that was a Idalia . What is the good thing is Old Farmer's Almanac was wrong about the Beryl hitting Louisiana instead it hit Texas and also not really happy that it hit Houston Texas because Houston Texas had a really bad storm in May. I feel extremely bad for those people in Houston I really hope there's no other hurricane coming to Houston man I wish every single Hurricane was a fish storm instead of landfall in hurricane man I was hoping the beryl was going to turn to the east just like Lee . Even though not always Old Farmer's Almanac is correct sometimes he's correct but not always is the predictions are really hard CPC is mentioned about heavy rainfall in Florida in the month of August but however it could change . However I'm not going to ignore Old Farmer's Almanac.

I live in Houston and Unfortunately power is still off. But we are blessed the inlaws opened their house to us and my mother offered to restock the fridge when the lights are back on.
Its rough, the wife is 6months into carrying our twins so please pray for us.

Please watch for your county to distribute food stamps..it is given in communities if the power is out for an extended time to replace the lost foods in your fridge.. your county will distribute them but it is fema funded so you will qualify .. God bless, my twins are 32 .. and now I have grandbabies!

Hey Mark from a fellow Texan down here in Galveston county. The storm blew over our 80 ft oak tree broke and fell in 3 pieces but glory be to God missed house and cars!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🛐💜

I totally understand everyone's pain in Texas. We got hit with Hurricane Michael, Cat 5, in Panama City Florida in 2018. It totally shredded us! We were without power for almost a month, destroyed our home, then had to stay in a FEMA trailer for over a year. Totally devastating!

We were out of power from Monday morning 9:30 am until Friday evening at 9 pm. I thanked God when it came back on! I was so tired of being hot and sweating!

It's Saturday strained Friday day & night early Saturday morning just what we needed praise the Lord. But my weeds have gotten totally out of hand.....😊
I finally have power now. Yay! Hopefully Centerpoint takes from this storm and immediately begins to strengthen their infrastructure. Because I understand 2.2 million outages during Category 2 storm Hurricane Ike... in 2008. But almost 3 million from Category 1 Hurricane Beryl? Although the population in Houston has increased, that scale factor should have decreased significantly in 16 years. We have no time before The Big One hits. God knew the infrastructure wasn't great, so he weakened Beryl into a Category 1 as it could've been much more.
Agree. We have a generator but can't handle the well pump load. We got power back on. I'm already beefing uo preparations for next time.

@@weathermanplus Yeah. I'm currently staying at my cousins house since Monday, and yesterday, we opened up the windows because our house starting smelling bad. Well, our Dad told us to go back and close the windows because it was spotted that people were breaking into others homes. And especially with our fence broken, yeah... we definitely had to close the windows. But yeah, it's sad out there. And I honestly believe these people are overreacting with these power outages, and I was too in the beginning until I began to realize how much work it takes to restore them. I understand Centerpoint Energy has problems with the infrastructure, but these people can't take their anger out on them let alone the community.

Hey Mark, new subscriber as of last week. I love your in depth reports and how you give all the options, how those options exist and what you think could happen. Your Beryl videos really helped me prepare for things as I was led to believe it was just going to be lots of rain. We had tons of tree and fence damage but praise God, no damage to the house or family.

I pray for those in Houston, northwestern country-actually the entire country. Many severely affected by heat dome…they are not used to high temps. God bless you and your family!

I've been following Farmer's Almanac for over a decade but have only observed about 30% accuracy for my region...It's more accurate for north of my area in Texas into Oklahoma. Dismal for southern part of North Central Texas, though. Just FYI

I have been tracking Hurricanes coming off Africa for years. The lower they come off Africa, they go west into the pacific. When they come off higher off the coast. They will either go into the Gulf, or go up the East Coast.
Here in houston texas we had a storm today and the powers been out since 3pm. It came back yesterday.
