It looks like my issue is deep bite, not overbite. And what I got is traditional braces with 3 first molar extracted. I am going through a mental breakdown. I had a very attractive smile. Why did I do this to me.
I just got these for my braces because I tried elastics and was in incredibly pain. My doctor called them “Plan B Wires” because they wanted to try and correct my overbite as much as possible without elastics to lesson the pain lol
Ayda Sh Yes! Your molars with the wire will most likely be in more discomfort then your other teeth, but this is because it’s pushing your molars out. It also helped even out my bottom teeth, and once I was able to use elastics it provided major movement between appointments.
Jay Jayyy isn't bite plate a better option? I have got removeable bite plate which does not hurt . It took few days to get used to talking , otherwise it's painless.
I had a deep underbite a year ago and now its treated but my dentist didnt use this wire on me. Instead I got a bite plate/plane that took 3-4 mos to align my bite. I wonder if this one hurt? Because the bite thing didn’t
@@blobba5442 a little yes but its very very subtle and I can only tell because I would look at pictures of me years ago compared to now but from other peoples perspective they probably dont notice anything
@@enpassant291 you get straight teeth. My boss who is 60 has Invisalign. Although I would recommend proper braces. But it’s your choice do your research on what you prefer. Bottom line is that you can straighten your teeth at any age.
This is the best video so far for understanding archwire with reverse curve of spee
Yes
This helped me tremendously as a resident
Without mini plant this is actually perfect, but does it actually work!?!
Thank you so much! From an ortho resident 😊
This one hurts so bad 👁💧👄💧👁
I just got this done a few days ago on my bottom teeth, about how long would it take to see results?
How long did it take?

how long did it take to align the teeth ?
That's a cute and painful joke at the same time 🤭
I heard the orthodontist say "reverse curve" at my last appointment and didn't understand what it meant... Now I see what they did :)

@Ayda Sh do rubber bands hurt?
@Ayda Sh how long did this take to even out your bottom teeth ?
Is this wire being placed as in the same arch position as shown or flipped vertically?
Got this done yesterday. My back teeth hurt like hell.

same! any updates??

Only incorporating RCS in the archwire it's highly impossible to correct the deep bite 100%....
Will it be helpful in adults age of 30yrs. I don’t want to go for surgery. Please reply
Yes of course it will help adults 100% !!!
Even up to 60 years old it will still work

Is posible? Why my dentist wont do that to me. Well
What is the size of wire used
I had this issue and instead of bringing the lower teeth down they just brought all my upper side down -_- hello gummy smile
Perela Sam has it gotten better ? How long did it take to see results ?
Perela Sam your orthodontist can do a whole arch intrussion technic to treat gummy smile
Aww.... did not it cause you more deep bite? I guess you need to fix it again. See some good dentist.
Same here.. Plus i already had gummy smile. Now i am searching for another ortho..
I need this wire
Doesn’t help deep bite from skeletal malocclusion
on that time,i need to wear the bite raiser. what food i ate is baby’s food 🫠
Can we use it in average to vertical grower
In vertical grower extrusion of posterior teeth is not favourable, so go for true intrusion by using TAD'S....
This one really hurts
Did i just see my tooth?
How are u doing now, abt ur teeths!?
