@andrewtaylor4796 yeah it was gone for quite a while and everyone missed it and wanted to see it again. Idk why they took it down before but I'm glad it's back!
I looked and looked for this video for years to no avail, ended up quitting looking for the longest. I randomly searched this and finally found it once again...oh the nostalgia..
What I'd like to say is people are getting full of themselves and the music they think is cool... They get so obsessed with the sound that they make it impossible for themselves to get into anything new or different. Instead of being against a different sound or style of metal or even music, listen to every song like you've never listened to metal before and just appreciate the sound that you hear. If it trips your trigger then you found a new song... A new sound... A new style... And now you have more music to listen to. The more opened minded you are to different genres or styles of music the more bands you'll get into and have to play when you crave a certain vibe or again... Sound.
I respect the second half of what you said completely, but a little food for thought... Telling other people that they're close minded and full of themselves, doesn't make you open minded and humble. In fact, you're telling them what they are doing is wrong and they should in fact be doing it the way that you are (right). Just something to meditate on... Again your on to something, but maybe drop the first half of the statement and you wont scare people away or make them defensive before delivering a killer message.
That's already what I do I started out with things like Metallica, korn and breaking Benjamin and what not(although it's probably questionable whether or not that the 2 latter mentioned bands are metal) and then I moved on to slipknot, five finger death punch, bullet for my Valentine, killswitch engage, of mice and men, August burns red, etc. then suicide silence, whitechapel, Chelsea grin, as blood runs black, and from there It took me a while, but I eventually got into opeth, suffocation, Nile, decapitated, death and what not, and then even black metal My music taste is still constantly expanding, I still like a majority of the bands mentioned(all of them really) and I'm still exploring other genres such as post metal, sludge metal, doom metal, thrash metal, more deathcore and metalcore, not quite as much Nu metal although I still like some of the bands, and so on. Hell, I even explore artists outside of metal even. It's sad that people can be too narrow minded to do the same.
PERFECT combination of brutal metal and electronic music. Haven't seen anyone come even close to pulling this off as good as The Browning. Cannot wait to see them live!
"Electronic Dance Metal" yeah. i can agree with this statement. sadly we need to fit everything into a nice, neat box in order to sell it. i haven't heard any other title that fits as well as the phrase you coined. someone else posted.. playing music is easy, coming up with new ideas and new ways to evolve music isn't. and i definitely agree with that remark. death metal loyalists, im sure, will not give music like this the time of day but if you're open mined and willing to give diversity a chance i think you'll find quite a few bands become new favorites.
but unfortunately edm stands for electronic dance music. technically they are electronicore/electrocore(depends what you prefer to call the broad genre)
Was Christopher Columbus the greatest sailor in history? No, but he was a pioneer. Is this the greatest band in the world? Maybe not, but I salute all pioneers who have the balls to do what others say are impossible or insane. I'll forever be appreciative of the progress you've made.
Because most of these "true metalheads" can't stand when a metal band does something out of their comfort zone. In this case, it's being overly heavy and having a ton of electronic effects. It sounds fucking awesome, so clearly the haters have no idea what they're talking about :D
Jaakko Ihanamäki So them using electronic music is why I hate this? It has nothing to do with the fact they play the same breakdown over and over for 4:02?
I play bass, keyboards, and compose Rock/Metal music, but I always appreciate bands that think outside of the box such as your Metal/Electronic fusion bands.
Matt G not your opinion these guys rock. I'm not going to argue to anyone your opinion is your opinion and I can't change that. Now, if you are trying to troll well.. Go fuck yourself.
Matt G With most people say that and what most people told me if you have nothing to say just dislike the video and keep going. You don't have to like nor comment of what I have to say and you may not agree with it.
How do you expect to be original when there's SO MANY FUCKING bands dude? Geezus, grow up a little bit. Just because they sound generic or "lack originality" doesn't mean they suck.
So is this supposed to be played at a disco? Electronic deathcore? Call me narrow-minded, but fuck, this shit ain't metal and this is not the direction metal should aim.
Ryan Heiser No, boy. First, Fear Factory are not in the same bowl as the other two you mentioned. They're Industrial Metal, nothing to do with this shit (just the Obsolete album had some similar features, in fact it was not appreciated by the fans). Ministry and NIN were just trendy bands, that try and follow the trends of their age. And so are doing these The Brownings: deathcore and electronic music are the trends of the moment, so why not mixing them together? You'll tell me that I'm old style, that this is the future of music, and something else, but boy this is just a trend, that soon will pass away. You can be the most innovative band in the world, but changes must be the product of a great work and planning and they must come from the heart, because you feel the urgency to make a change, not to follow a trend.
Ah fuck you. Even electronic music is from the 80s, you know? I'm not against technology, but this is not the way it should be used. Even Atomic Bombs are a product of technology, aren't they? So we should 'get with the times' and start throwing bombs at each other because this is the progress?
My best friends oldest brother is now the bassist for the Browning. I got into them at around December of last year, their music has great lyrics, I think, and each song seems to have a story that coincides with the other songs in the album more directly than most bands.
Been into heavy music for 25 fucking years not many bands grab my attention. The browning are sick. Love the electronic sound with the breakdowns. The browning & Born of Osiris do so well. Much better then asking Alexandria garbage.
Just saw these guys last night and they are nice as hell! Got some stuff signed and a picture with them to show all the fellow marines here on camp lejeune!!!
They brought the video back!!! ❤❤❤
Okay so I wasn’t going crazy that I thought this video disappeared 😅
@andrewtaylor4796 yeah it was gone for quite a while and everyone missed it and wanted to see it again. Idk why they took it down before but I'm glad it's back!

Glad someone brought back the o.g. music video

+Brad Rolland yeah, I agree,
That's already what I do

They must call themselves The Browning because I shit my fucking pants hearing that breakdown

I LOVE THE BROWNING!!! Can't get enough! So glad i discovered this band!!!
these guys are fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu king sick
They are EDM. Electronic Dance Metal.
that sounds fucking terrible

I'd say they're FBA, Fucking Bad Ass
J Bravenboer That's because it is, lol.
but unfortunately edm stands for electronic dance music.
technically they are electronicore/electrocore(depends what you prefer to call the broad genre)
How can you hate a metal song that starts off with a hard style intro come on that's fucking epic
Was Christopher Columbus the greatest sailor in history? No, but he was a pioneer. Is this the greatest band in the world? Maybe not, but I salute all pioneers who have the balls to do what others say are impossible or insane. I'll forever be appreciative of the progress you've made.
One of the most perfect songs to ever bless my ears, love these guys!
WE WILL NEVER DIEE !!!!!!!!!!

What's up with all the hate? These guys are sick!

Jaakko Ihanamäki I also listen to EDM so...
Jaakko Ihanamäki
No metal can be overly heavy... That is a common misconception. Bro...
Jaakko Ihanamäki So them using electronic music is why I hate this? It has nothing to do with the fact they play the same breakdown over and over for 4:02?
OdobenusPotatus well no one forces you to listen? :D
this band is awesome in live
I play bass, keyboards, and compose Rock/Metal music, but I always appreciate bands that think outside of the box such as your Metal/Electronic fusion bands.
hardstyle with metal. I loved opening for these guys.
Showing it to a friend that doesn't listen to metal: "It's like a metal version of the final countdown"
ha show them Affiance"s cover of Final Countdown.

You shouldn't have found this band, they suck massive dick
Matt G
not your opinion these guys rock. I'm not going to argue to anyone your opinion is your opinion and I can't change that. Now, if you are trying to troll well.. Go fuck yourself.
TheKnightOut I'm not trying to troll, good sir. Simply saying that Metalcore is the most generic, bland and generally shitty genre of music to exist
Matt G
With most people say that and what most people told me if you have nothing to say just dislike the video and keep going. You don't have to like nor comment of what I have to say and you may not agree with it.
I was only trying to enlighten some people

I see the mid-90's sound is making a come back for the next generation...
Just found this band today and got their album. Sounds so original and dope. Wanna see these guys live.

Electronic deathcore?
Call me narrow-minded, but fuck, this shit ain't metal and this is not the direction metal should aim.
It might be a bit more rave style, but this music been around for decades. Ministry, Fear Factory, even old NIN to name a few.
Ryan Heiser No, boy. First, Fear Factory are not in the same bowl as the other two you mentioned. This is inevitable, more technology means more technology in music, metal is no exception.
Technology. Can't live in the 80's forever there mr Thrashmetal. Thrash is old, get with the times.
Ah fuck you. Even electronic music is from the 80s, you know? I'm not against technology, but this is not the way it should be used. Even Atomic Bombs are a product of technology, aren't they? So we should 'get with the times' and start throwing bombs at each other because this is the progress?
