I was living with a void after Pantera; that wasn't filled until Chimaira came into my life (can't forget so many greats like Korn,Deftones,Hed(PE),Lamb of God,Etc...), but time took them where Born of Osiris briefly entered. Some of their work reminded me of Chimaira, with some different elements, but they didn't hold my attention. Emmure came out and Frankie was so fucking brutal! Now The Browning is by far the best new metal band I've listened to in years! Finally a new band that I like everything I've heard from them! They fucking nailed their sound and are using much of the keys/electronic elements I've produced in songs for my debut album. They are like an American version of SoilWork,Disarmonia Mundi,In Flames,and the guitar/vocals of Emmure,Born of Osiris. With some industrial/electronica elements of New Skinny Puppy and CrossBreed!

ok im in love with this song and the band because this band tells us a postive message and i can tell this song is saying that time is running out on something that needs to be done and it says that you need a path to live in your life and its all true people need to find a path they can live in like this "happy or sad" ive chosen the sad path but i wanna go back to the happy path and this song right here made me go to the side i wanted to... I love this band and this song glad i founded them :)
My best friends brother is now the bassist for the Browning. I had heard of them before because of said best friend, but did not really get into them until around December of last year. All of their songs seem to have a story that coincides with the other songs on the album, deeper than most bands, which is pretty awesome. They are touring Europe at the moment, actually. :D
Anyone who hates on this band or song in general just doesn't have what it takes to be metal. This was a new experiment for many people who love metal but this shit actually works and sounds brutal in my opinion.

I can't believe there are people calling this gay... This isn't even their best video or song but its still a great song. These guys are exactly what I was looking for when I found them. Metal with some dubstep thrown in... And they brought the headspin back and they do it right... The lyrics are positive and its heavy. Their later videos are even heavier... The bass hits harder and the lyrics get better... But despite that this song is not bad and there is no reason for people to dis this. I saw them live BTW and they fucking rock... And they are totally cool in person... Signed my CD and gave me a free Pepsi lol.
No reason to hate this? Have you considered most metal fans actually like music played with real instruments, and prefer to distance themselves from electronic computer-made music? Have you considered this might be a reason for some metalheads to dislike this band, since they are combining these 2 genres?

yea i agree the vocals are actually mostly hardcore but when he drops his voice they become more of a death metal style. this band does a really good job mixing up there influences and styles. aaaannnd thats why i listen to them lol

Born of Osiris is my favorite example to illustrate my point. They do indeed have a lot of Core in their guitars, but they also have lots of Prog. Metal songwriting and Metal guitarwork. They fall into the Core-subgenre because they do have a mixture of Core and Metal. However, they also have MORE Metal than they have Core-elements, and are therefore concidered a Metal-band. Which is the opposite of what can be said for The Browning, who has more Core, and can therefore not be concidered Metal.
Honestly, I am not really a fan of the breakdown style of metal, ('core' and all that jazz) but this is the only band I have heard that makes the synths with the metal actually sound good. So I agree.

I get what you mean, but his vocal styling is one of the things that makes The Browning have such a unique sound. Respect your opinion though.
