He’s taking up a roster spot especially if you’re not gonna be playing for the long-term future of the sixers he can’t guard no young guard on any NBA team as a starter
Only reason Kyle Lowry had a big role last year was due to De'Anthony Melton being injured. If Melton was ready and able Lowry may have still started but De'Anthony would have gotten the bulk of the minutes... hopefully the plan is for Jared McCain to have a significant role with this team too take slack away from Lowry. Reggie Jackson will also be getting some burn as well.
He should retire now! He is taking up space on the team. He's a defensive liability. And doesn't give much on the offensive end. We could have picked up Justise Winslow. 6 ft 8 guard forward.A defensive monster.

Hamstrings retired a couple years ago! The hope is he is outplayed by either Jackson or McCain through the season making it clear for the playoffs, but you can’t underestimate his relationship with Nurse.
