$20 almost guaranteed damaged cards and almost guaranteed no hits. Hard pass.
Who woulda guessed putting a hanger pack inside a round tin leads to corner damage? I understand why they made these from a marketing standpoint, but know what your customers want. Nobody wants a 50/50 shot at soft corners for the sake of a tin. The saying goes "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". They got it right with the mega boxes for this release. Leave it be. Appreciate the video as always Jabs!
I've received cards from a blaster with dinged corners so no surprise for me.
@IamThePro78 damaged can come any format, so I agree with you. My point was this video showed a much higher probability of it happening. Who wants that, if they know it going in?
Imagine grabbing one of these at Walmart that somebody dropped on the floor several times and those top corners are all completely obliterated on both sides

I was thinking to pick up one of these tins. Thought it would come with a hanger for the Xmas tree 🎄. But with the bent corners and bland "hit", it looks like these tins aren't worth it. Mega boxes for me! Good thing I checked the review out before buying. Thanks Jabs! 😅

My first question when you opened up the tin was if there is plastic around the top like there was on the bottom and the damaged corners tell me there is not.

How can you get into your monthly mystery box??
Those 2020/2021 tins should have continued, still disappointed we never got a Soto or Ohtani and others on a tin
I tried to buy the holida calendar on tops today 11mins after it was available to purchase and it said sold out. Do they really sell out that fast? Do I have to be online like 1min after it goes online??
The Advent calendars of Topps Holiday release on the Topps website today, they look like the way to go.

Maybe next time if you started off zoomed out a bit more it'd be easier to grasp the actual scale of the card vs total box size. Love your videos though :)
They could have at least put players faces on the tins and I can see these cards getting damaged alot it's like trying to fit a square in a circle 😅
You can use a little hook refrigerator magnet to hang these on the tree
Don't turn tin on its side , that should help with the bent corners

They are just Topps version of Pokeball Tins. They have been copying "Pokémon" packaging a lot lately!
Except baseball cards have 90° corners and pokemon has a rounded edge. Even pokemon cards gets damaged in the pokeball tins, this is amplified 10x
Tins are a bad idea. Panini did tins with 24 Donruss football and they have produced a lot of damaged corners as well.
Why did Topps not put bubble wrap over at least the top of the cards? The dinged corners cause value to go way down, even an auto is not worth much?
Topps keeps putting Bounties out on cards so people keep going out and spending money on this.

I liked these in the past but something about this release I do not like..plus the lack of hits this time,I’ll pass on these this year ✌🏻

This case is a bust. I do like this years design. I got 4 Mega boxes sent by Topps and was able to complete the set for first grandson that I am expecting in March 2025.
Will not be looking for these at the store
I wouldn't pay 2 dollars for these tins. Horrible idea and packaging.
