I was 16 when this premiered at my local shop. It was a huge party. Somehow we all just knew that this was going to be a big deal, even though we didn’t realize it at the time. I’ve probably watched Yeah Right a thousand times. I still get hyped to skate when I watch it but now I have my son by my side. Getting old is crazy.
This is an iconic video. I'm just sad to see there's nothing talking about Robbie McKinley. Or reminding us of Keenan Milton. Rest in peace to them both.
After I saw Jereme and Prods parts in the video, I basically knew that I wasnt good enough to become a pro skater..they basically set the bar for skaters from my generation.
Eric signing the card at the end is priceless those things are meant for mainstream sports.had a card shop for 10+ years glad to see stuff like that entering the hobby of collecting.that nail file card gonna worth bank some day
I always thought Fully Flared would have the biggest legacy but now I think Yeah Right is the most impactful skate video of all time. At least for my generation. Started skating in ‘99.
Watched this religiously on vhs after school with the squad, before every skate sesh. I miss that era of skateboarding. Rewinding it to rewatch Koston’s part repeatedly, & being hyped on the Frank Black Los Angeles song. Best days ever 😎😭🤘
YEAH RIGHT is one of the videos that shaped me as a teenage skateboarder. I remember humming that Joy Division song while trying to hold my arms like MJ. I would try to do super fast grinds with Gino's part song in my head... that video was so heavy, from first part to last. Greatest skate video of all time in my book.
“Todays the day babeeee!!! What chu gonna dooooo” played every morning in my high school brain. Always inspired me to take advantage of the day to go skate
yeah right! is the first skate video i really loved and watched a hundred times... then hot chocolate, then fully flared... those blew my mind for years! thanks for all those memories!
Fuck. I turned 33 this year. I can still double kick and do some shit and my knees hurt a lot but I hate how Howard is aging so much. He was an inspiration along with Koston, this shit kills me but also makes me happy, proud and the most appreciative for where their efforts as well as many others put skating to where it is today. If I could fit my K6’s, I’d go make a vid rn in them with a board I still have at my dad’s house from 2005 that’s just far too worn on the tail. I wanna cry. This took me back. Thank you.
Everyone my age believed that Owen Wilson could skate after this. There was also a magazine article (some pop culture mag) I read around this time that listed celebs who could skate and had a photo of him cruising, so it seemed totally plausible he could be ‘pretty good’ at skating haha
Unless its my own personal Mandella...i recall the video tape of yeah right to have more scenes that werent in the dvd. The cardboard cut outs, more invisible ramp...
I just remember unlocking the clips in that THPS game (underground or American wasteland, can’t remember). Made me love skateboarding so much more as a teen
Where can I get one of those cards man?
Our website - abdcollectibles.com this Friday @6pm pst!
Front salad, back salad, front blunt

I love this. Grateful for Yeah Right! and all the inspiration it brought to us.
Eric talks so much yet its rare to see him talking about himself when he was in his prime, good stuff!

Check out the reunion this Friday @ 6pm PST 😂. Also, this project has nothing to do with NFTs
@abdcollectibles look forward to it. Thanks for the response. 🛹👊
@@BrandonHansonwas this a response to your comment? I'm confused

nowadays gen z would boycott watching the video and create their own industry that makes them feel less "triggered".

"Yeah Right!" will always be one of the greatest skateboarding movies 🚺🛹🔥

Much love for all of them, but specially Mike Mo for putting this together. What a gem
I can't be alone in saying " we just wanna see Rick Howard push "
Think you mean Rick Mccrank
@@SauceBlob @chris__L I think you both mean Gino ;) JK I love all 3 equally.
I wanna see Mirko Magnum push so I can feel good about my own skating 💩

This and the flip videos fuelled my skateboarding from when I was 12 till 20
Rick Howard in the Lovenskate tee Sick ...this is Rad. Yeah Right was the first big time video of my childhood it’ll always stick with me.
Thats what i needed. Nice flashback
Yeah Right! raised the bar to how far skate videos have come. Most importantly, it was entertaining.
Yeah right ! came out 20 years ago
Goddamn that makes me feel old
this is so fuckin sick. i remember watching this as soon as i could get my grubby hands on it. so iconic. wish i could relive those days over again.
Mike MO’s honesty is humbling❤
This video will go down in History, as the video that changed skateboarding.
This was excellent, thank you!
TY MIKE YOU A BEAST BOUL!
Yeah right and chomp on this are burned into my head❤
P ROD is my age so he was my favorite, good stuff everyone!

Glad you like them!
The first skate video I bought on DVD. Good times
Such a classic. I learned so many tricks from this video
Not the first video i watched but the first one i bought P.Rod still my favorite skater.
Man, my favorite part on yeah right is Caroll's but the alternative one with Frisco, damn used to watch that religiously before skating.
Amazing!

Owen Wilson with the goat cameo 🫡

Legendary
wow.. so cool. Had this on vhs. Bought it from Active Rideshop in SoCal
Unless its my own personal Mandella...i recall the video tape of yeah right to have more scenes that werent in the dvd. The cardboard cut outs, more invisible ramp...
Best video ever.
I have a question guys when did YEAH RIGHT come out again
Rick's Love N Skate shirt!
This video carried me on the early 2000s
The tail smack miss in Owen's part is the only thing that went wrong in Yeah Right, everything else is perfect !
Dammit Mike Mo, you’re gonna make me go broke with this drop!
Yeah Right was the first skate video I ever saw. Followed by Flip Sorry. But Yeah Right is what really got me into skating harder
unforgettable 😍
Pretty cool you got Koston to speak on it given he left Girl on bad terms it seemed like
My first skatevideo ever. It’ll always have a very special place in my heart.
Finally we find out what really happened with the Eric Koston incident. Nonetheless, he had one of the greatest video parts of all time.
Finally!! It wasn’t the wallet but rather CASH. Geez
@@edgaryzen4925 Eother way he made a mistake by messing with one of the greatest skateboarders of all-time.
@edgaryzen4925 BTW I met a man. He was a good man. Skating and shredding. His name is Eric Koston. Filming his par-r-r-r-t Yeah Ri-i-i-i-i-ight.
WOW!!!!
Damn, i feel olf again.
Yea right did what the questionable video did to me just ten years later. I watched them more then any other movies ever!
Did prod have krux on his first pro model?
I just remember unlocking the clips in that THPS game (underground or American wasteland, can’t remember). Made me love skateboarding so much more as a teen
It’s a classic
