You can really tell that not getting a full part in Yeah Right was a big hit to Jeron, i'm glad they talked about this here and he got the opportunity to say his peace. I can't imagine how angry/disappointed/betrayed he must have felt at the time. Props to him for really showing out on the DVS video a few years later.
He should be thankful at all to be part of the greatest video of all time. It's time to make peace with it, no need to carry this emotion 20 years with you. Comparing him to the other guys he was not on the same level imo and he had his little part, which is still pretty sick. Also the music fits perfect to his part, it's one of the most powerful songs.
Damn it's crazy to see Koston, Carroll and rick Howard in the same room. All that's missing is marc Johnson and guy Mariano. Hope we get to see more of them reuniting. This is HUGE for skateboarding
I wish I still had my VHS of this still. It was taped together so many times you could barely watch it anymore so I threw it away. The things nostalgia makes you want...
This was a treat. No other board company had a better blend of skateboarders . Everyone on girl at that time was just so good! And not to mention the order the parts were placed and the song selection and editing was masterful !
That last shoutout to Robbie got me. 😢 Congrats to everyone involved in making this reunion possible. Yeah Right is definitely my most watched skate video of all time!
I would try to hold my arms like MJ while humming that joy division track as a middle schooler. I would do grinds fast as hell with Gino's song in my head. YEAH RIGHT was so influential. It shaped so many skaters. Arguably the greatest skate video of all time. Keenan forever ♥ 🙏
@@zd12101 The Tony hawk game came out way before this, i would say that got alot of people who didnt skate into skateboarding. Nobody buys a skate video if they dont skate, not really. But people who dont skate, play skate games, still to this day. Not trying to argue i just think you're wrong.
Yeah Right and Fully were the two important videos for me growing up. From the skating, editing and music. So important. I picked up one of these packs and I have the OG pack from drop 1.
Man every time I hear Jeron talk about how emotional he gets about not having a part gets to me every time, him having a full part could have definitely had a big impact on his career.
It also could of not been good for him like he said he realized here. It's just bittersweet. I think it makes his story even more meaningful and interesting. If he didn't have enough for a full part because he got hurt a couple times the part may have hurt him too even. I think his part within the part with Rick is iconic and such a vibe and inspirational and forever nostalgic.
Rad to see Rick Howard, one of my favorite skaters of all time, speaking about skateboarding. There needs to be Rick Howard Nine Club episode asap. The world of skateboarding would be super stoked on it no doubt.
I learned Nollie Heels watching Dubs slow mo clip, seeing the foot placement and what he did with the back foot, same with BA's tre flip, this was the second video I ever bought and I watched it religiously every morning before going to school or going skating.
Dubs and Rick parts and the entire editing and the music is one of the best ever footage filmed in all of films. Not just skateboarding. I watch is as often as possible 20 years later.
The greatest skate video ever, watched it over and over again, this is my childhood! the production was ahead of its time, glad to have met the team in 2004 when they came to Australia.
I remember someone copping this video and like 20 of us crowded into our buddies one bedroom apartment we watched it in full- I've never felt so hyped after a video and the conversations on it still continue to this day. Impactful.
This was the very first skate video I bought and owned. We didn’t have RUclips back in 2003 so the only skating I could watch was on DVD. I have watched Yeah Right hundreds of times through probably.
Ahhhh you young fellas had it easy. Us older skate rats had to sit and wait for the VHS tape to rewind so we could watch again. I played OSIRIS The Storm so much the tape just stopped working one day. 🫶

I loved that they touched that Jerson Wilson montage part subject, the dude is incredibly good and yes he deserved a full part in "Yeah Right" and in hindsight since the video is regarded as the greatest video of all time it is understandable that he will have certain thoughts around it.
