Just want to say I appreciate that as much as we all enjoy clowning on WG, you still point out the things they do well, it is important to not ONLY trash on them if we want the game to succeed, keep it up! (Also its nice to see the French DD skins are different, rather than the same scheme for all 3)
Cheers, I've always highlighted the good changes they do, the problem is that there has been so few of them lately.
He is always like this, it's just that when WG does something worth praising is usually just ok or in a "good direction" level meanwhile the bad things are mostly demented decisions that get his reactions.
I just wish they'd bring async back. That was fun. Randoms is a crapshoot.
And async is Great for grinding missions :D
I hope they bring Asymmetric Battles back. Those were _actually fun._

There seems to be a trend that Wargaming has been going with their special commanders and I don't like it.
Special commanders are supposed to make playable or good ships _better,_ and what seems to be happening with the introduction of this line is that WG makes the tech tree trash or mediocre, only to then make up for the weaknesses with the special commander.
On the surface that's not an inherently bad thing, but you can only have _one_ of these commanders at a time, and if an entire nation is full of lines that require the special commander attached in order to be viable or good, that's essentially a very convoluted P2W mechanic.
Edit: with enough paid actors on the enemy team, it actually is possible to proc Lutjens' main battery talent with Mecklenburg.

Survivability Expert is easily one of the most important skills for Cruisers and Destroyers. The new commander seems really strong, all the skills are useful and easy to activate.
It's actually quite possible to proc Lutjens with the Mecklenburg.
I've proc'd BOTH talents with Mecklenburg.

No they're not. Aside from a passing comment made by Bismarck's captain, there are zero records of Germans, past or present, referring to their ships with male pronouns.

The unique panamerican captain looks already broken. I am curious how those new BBs going to be strong on secondaries, but heard they will have bad armor.

Are there CVs yet for this captain to put on? Because this seems very very strong. Procing "High Caliber" as a CV is even easier, which gives you another heal and speedboost and then prolongs the healing / speedboost duration by 20%. On heals this can be crazy strong because at a certain point you can heal through patrol fighters without losing a single plane for example...
So the new French line torpedoes dissolve in water the longer they go ? Because I cannot imagine any other reasonable explanation for torpedo damage going down with distance ... those are not AP shells ...
Flamu, news from Russian Server. The New Competitive mode has +15% speed boost, resulting in me doing 61 knots, without even triggering the capitans skill , which is north of 100 km/hr
As if Co-op needs more fucking yolo boats like the T8+ French and Emilio. Fucking fun when you have 2-3 in a battle while you try to do some mission.
The real question is, are they really any better than kleber in yolo? i mean sure, their torpedo alpha might be larger, but klebers is enough to rip apart most enemies, and it has insane guns on top of it.

It's the nature of the PAN nation groups dude. Your dude won't be unique in that regard. We will say the same when weegee adds a special commander for the Commonwealth nation group, making it 4 specials captaining ships from other countries.
Thing is, YOU get to choose the ship you place him on.
If wg were to make it so you could put captains on any ship I bet the two most used would be that one and the Russian one

Repulse has 16 mm nose armor. People can`t deal with it hence lesta buffed the ship
Why do I feel like shuffle is WG new "Airship Escort 2.0" where they want to promote brawling. Which I am all for. But the player base dented as it is, is not going to pick brawling ships for this shuffle mode i.e. light dds, subs and CVs are not banned from this shuffle mode, cruisers that are kite and burn ships I can will be picked at least for the convoy, etc..
Like it's another way for WG to attempt to "fix" the glaring problem that people just don't want to push anymore like they use to (because of bs ships and classes that punish pushing) and it just allows WG to excuse itself from doing actual balancing work.
We thought San Martin was difficult to kill before...now with high caliber its going to be practically impossible to kill
But how often u proc high cal on san martin tho? The guns do no dmg. with only AP, slow reloadin guns it takes a long time to do it

I stopped playing WoWs and started with tanks. It is way more enjoyable without that much microtransaction
Asymmetric Battles is the only reason to ever consider playing wows, and since that's only an occasional thing you're better off just playing other games and forgetting about ships.
To me they are trying to make the game more cumbersome like wot its disgusting love wow but between the op cv and "balanced" subs its already getting nasty just my opinion some peeps into that masochism cant even run premiums at a profit because you got to buy more damn signal flags
Grinds these days dont start at T1-2, it starts at T7-8 when early access goes over to tech tree. The lines I have interest in I grint to T10 in a few days the lines that are meeh (like ITA DDs) I have the T7´s.
Dont even know why WG even waste time making T1-6 ships any more.

Common brother, lay off the anti sub and cv narrative. Subs have been nerfed so much that sub players are surviving less, winning less and scoring less by as much as 20% whilst ships are lasting and scoring the same or close percentage more.
As for CVs, they are ceasing the plane spotting, about 75% of their passive scoring.
