Step 1: Dismantle half of your car. Thanks for making this video. I never would have figured this out on my own. I'm going to try the shortcuts others recommended but if I can't get enough access I will follow your instructions.
Is there a separate pump for the back sprayer? In my mother's 2013 both stopped working at the same time. I haven't tried to listen for the pump working yet but it would help in diagnosing the issue to know if there are two pumps. If there are two pumps then that would most likely mean a clogged line.

Probably test it before putting together.
Videos from this channel have been a huge help to me. I either follow video, or after watching video decide I better take it to a shop.

Is there any troubleshooting available to determine is a pump failure, before dismantling half of the car to change the water windshield tank pump?
You could just peel back the wheel well. No need for the whole bumper to come off
And that why I stick to older vehicles lol

Awesome. I have a captiva. Looks to be the same? Thanks
Does this apply to a Malibu 2017?
The tank is in the same spot on a 2017 spark. I don’t want to take off the bumper just to change the pump 😢 looks like I’m going to the mechanic 😂
Removing the entire front clip is unnecessary. Removing about half of the screws and clips will allow adequate access.
+Thomas Shannon We appreciate the feedback. Sometimes there are multiple ways to accomplish the same repair. 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
There is a difference between repair and replace geezzz
Screw it I’ll just drive around with a bottle of water by my side
Splendid😍! Do what the pros do = P R O M O S M.
