If you can't get search for content inside a PDF document, you should check which kind of PDF you got. Image based PDFs can't be indexed so you will have to convert it to a text based PDF for it to work 😊

Hi Max, with some work it is possible to include meta data within a cross site search. However, it won’t be the same user experience or UI as it would be as filtering s document library by a column.
