Thanks for doing this Adrian. My window went down and got stuck there, and I really wasn't looking forward to trying to take the door card off without instructions. The videos are really clear and concise, and show exactly what needs to be done. My issue was the same as yours - the plastic spindle had gotten chewed up and twisted the wires. I really appreciate you taking the time to make these videos to help the rest of us keep these cars on the road. Cheers, Steve
Thanks for taking the time to produce these videos. The door panel (card) removal is especially interesting to me, as I plan to embark on my own "unsticky" journey for the upper door panel trim... and the wretched sticky buttons. I'll be watching for new videos!
Thanks so much Adrian for posting these great videos! I have the exact same car, and I am hoping in the near future that you will post videos for some of the common maintenance items, like engine oil & filter, control arm bushing, etc. keep up the great work!

Thanks, I'm just refreshing my memory as I need to tackle this job again. There's a better way to re-attach the glass to the regulator - before you remove it, you tape the glass fully up, as I see you did. Leave it there and you can unbolt the regulator through the 2 provided holes. So when you reinstall, you just make sure the regulator is set to the fully closed/uppermost position and you can then easily bolt the glass to it without having to lower it.
Great video once again Adrian my driver-side door window has the same problem but with your help by the weekend hopefully I will sort it Thank you so much👍👍
Adrian, all things considered, what would you recommend for doing the passenger rear window regulator on an 07 M139? Mine just failed today. Would you recommend a repair kit, or should I really go out of my way for a complete regulator? I’m assuming only Maserati has it….not sure if they are aftermarket complete regulators.
Hi there, if you search eBay for ‘Quattroporte window regulator rear’ there is a complete setup excluding the motor. I’ve just bought one for the front as my opposite to the one I fixed using the repair kit containing sliders and cables has now failed. Will report how it compares.
Adrian, I’ve been going through your videos and am wondering, have you had any issue with sticky interior panel parts? The gummy texture they develop over time? If you did, might be an idea for a video…I’m going to deal with this soon, but would love your take on how to fix the tacky/sticky panels and buttons.
Thanks for posting this, although it's a few weeks too late for me as I've been through the same process with my 2009 QP. One problem I've had since is dampness in the car, especially on the carpeted panel on the bottom of the door card, presumably where I've damaged the plastic membrane seal. Once the weather improves I'll be taking the door card off again and re-sealing or replacing the plastic membrane using silicone sealant or similar. I notice you didn't have a membrane in place when you show the door card being re-fitted at the end of your video - I would recommend fitting one if you haven't already.
Hi and thanks for your comments. It just so happens I experienced exactly the same and I too believe it is to do with the membrane. I have had to order them as I could not get them in time for the video. I too will be waiting until some warmer weather and I will be fitting them. Thanks
Hi Adrian, I have to replace both rear regulators on my 2008 qp seems broken after a mot where do you get these parts from I googled the codes but googcant find Also did you resolve the sticky switch controls in cockpit? Thxin advance
Hi Keith, if you go on eBay and search for ‘Maserati Window Regulator Rear’ the different after market repair kits will be listed. For OEM you can try Scuderia or Eurospares. Hope that helps. Cheers Ade
Fantastic video mate, thank you very much I been hanging out for this as my rear passanger regulator broke a while ago. I would imagine that the rear one would be pretty much the same as the front? Regards
hi Adrian, i am enjoying watching your videos. I have a question . My MAZ QP 2006 has 4 window switches plus a couple of lock buttons on the driver side. My drivers window has started to act up and pressing the RHS button lowers the window only a fraction . Multiple presses will get it right down but this takes 5 minutes. All other 3 window switches work fine. I have stripped down the door and unplugged and removed the switch assembly and cleaned it up. After cleaning the PCB It looks to me like there is probably a blown resistor on the board . I am assuming that as the window does eventually go down and then up after multiple presses this is where the problem lies.. Would you agree with this analysis . EG: it is not the cables etc inside the door. The Part number on the switches is 501201350015 or possibly 203076. any ideas where i can get a replacement/spare ? . thanks in advance !
My Drivers side Insidie Door Handle and Window Just Got Stuck Down on 2005 Maserti Quattro in the Past week ... !!! Just my Luck 😂 ... Look at the Bright side 2 for One ... Any Suggestions ??? ...
The joys of Maserati ownership. All work I did to fix the regulator is in this playlist. I also have a door handle video, which may be worth looking at. Good luck fixing yours.

Thank you for your kind comments 👍
Thank you so much! When I'll finally buy my quattroporte, I'll be able to do it myself although I have a Lancia thesis it is so similar.
Thanks for commenting. Yeah the Lancia very similar. Pleased you've found them useful. Cheers Ade
