Thank you, I found that the aftermarket kits (from E-Bay) did not have the correct length cables, I ended up making my own. This video helped a lot. Also, a lot of patience is required when routing the new wires and inserting the pipes back into the housing. i saw some 3D printed clamps for other models that helped with compressing the springs, but the Maserati version would require a different solution. Thank you for posting this and amazing what a low-tech system (with cheap plastic parts) still exists in this car.
I got my repair Kit from eBay as well ! The Cable was too Short ... I was Hott 🔥 ... Winded Up and had to Zip Tie the Motor to the inside Door Frame ... Sad ! but got my window working ... 05 Quattroporte !
Last year (2020) my Maserati driver's window regulator broke, and of course the parts that broke are plastic. I really, really wish they were made of metal. I would be more than happy to pay the extra money for metal parts. I hate plastic! Thanks to the rest of the car using mostly metal, my 2008 Maserati QP is very reliable.
I have a 2010 4.7, working on the rear right window. My gear is black, not green and is slightly smaller than the white housing. The 'teeth" and hole are slightly off center and the green gear can't fit. I can't understand it. Any ideas?
As we say on Amazon you not going to find any OEM kit, the kits are made for work with that regulators, we sale for some years, we reuild regulators for 10 years and since we make the kit some years ago we not have any issue, even when roller it's little small compare to OEM it's still works fine with no issues
We can rebuild for you if you can't installed, these kits normally are for who has the knowledge to do it, we try to make the video to any one can do it....but for experience they works ok and the long last also....
