I planned a Litchi orbit with my Air 2S and failed to realise one of the waypoints was set significantly lower than all the others. It crashed sideways into a pine tree. I don't know how the waypoint ended up so low, but it's my fault for not checking properly.
@@robinhannevig I works fine, but there's a weird sound from one of the boards on startup. I will probably replace it under Care Refresh, the only question is will I do it before or after the C1 label can be ordered 🤔 I crashed my previous Air 2S also, in Norway. It flew into a bridge and fell into the rapids below, irretrievably. Dji gave me a new one under warranty 😃👍
Good info as i have just got mine and have only just used it indoors, like took off went across the room and back. Done my flyer ID now so waiting for the wind storms to go away. It seems that the DJI REFRESH is something that i have made the right choice of getting. Does anyone on here know how i can get the Dji Virtual flight simulator on the rc2 controller please? Thank you
mine recently went into a wall cos was late evening so low light (sensors didnt work) and lost gps so drifted side ways but as i was in cine mode it wasnt powerful enough to fight back even with the stick full opposite. thank god for care refresh!
I had the same kind of accident, but it didn't end as well as yours. Mine mini 4 also crashed into small branches but didn't recover. Oh and beaches were above pond, so you know... now it's mini 4 pro submarine. DJI Care came to rescue... thank god.
It was not your own fault. DJI is making great progress... but the idea that you have to be in a wide open environment to be able to count on the features is perverted. Further gains in sensing, Ai need to be made in obstacle avoidance.
Have you ever crashed your drone?

Oh man! Sorry to hear that😬 Was it okey tho?

Oh man😅 haha… unlucky! The avata is usually what takes the beating around here, but the avata can take it. Hope you get it sorted 👍👍

Active Track is not 100 percent. Don't rely on it
1:47 yes the Mini 4 Pro does have side sensors. Well it's omni directional anyway, 😎
Obstacle avoidance even in 2024 is not full proof.. technology is still in its infancy..give it 2-4 years to fully develop for commercial use..

Oh man😬 the power of DJI care indeed👍! Hope its your last🤞👀
