- Honestly, this was the most exciting day of the week. I enjoyed the markets and the actors so much! Everything went above and beyond my expectations. My camera died early in, so I couldn't get all that much footage of the markets, but let me tell you one thing.... I will never look at laughing cow (cow cheese) the same way again. :)

The singing was all wonderful. The song "On my mother's side " brought tears to my eyes when combined with the authentic-looking baskets of fruit and bread in the Bethlehem market.

It sounds like your colony did well to break off from the rest of the Hutterites, although Giselle’s colony seems a little less uptight than the rest. It all depends on the leaders, whether they are dictators, or truly love their people.
My family left a colony where the preacher and boss were full of hate, jealousy, pride and bitterness-and everyone suffered. My mom came from a colony where the leaders were decent men, and it was a pretty fun place to visit, but unfortunately, she had to move to my dad’s colony when they got married.
The love and care for your people, in your dad and others, shines through in your colony. God bless you, may the Spirit of God lead and guide you into all truth.
