Vlog #75 What compelled me to start a YouTube channel? + cleaning our buildings and garden

- Welcome back, this week its going to be another cleaning vlog (in more ways then one) i know i have made a few videos and dedicated a day to cleaning but, here is an entire week, from fall cleaning our kitchen to cleaning the garden, or starting to anyway.

Aren't they just and i should know having been in nursing for 30yrs 😂 x
Because they are more hardworking than the docS and the nurses😅😅
Having spent a lot of time in my local NHS hospital I can say the cleaners do an excellent job of cleaning every day, and deep cleaning every month. It's sad to hear your private funded American hospitals arent like that !
Probably why they never got a Covid outbreak lol 🤷🏻♀️

You mentioned that Kona likes to stretch before people pet her. If she's stretching with her front legs only that might be what is called "play bow" It's a good thing.
Exactly what I came here to say. It is likely a bow to show that she is playful and means no harm to the people petting her.
Yes, the "play bow" is a canine welcome, like "Hi, I'm so pleased to meet you." AND probably, "Thank you so much for the all pats, scratches and puppy cuddles I am looking forward to you giving me." 😊

I adore your channel. I found it two weeks ago and so far I have bought a devotional (never heard of it before I found you), am making my first batch of water kefir (never knew of it before you) and made a batch of your cleaning solution - my windows now sparkle. God is working through you and your sweet vlog. When I face a chore I do not want to do, I think, what would Giselle do? You and gentle fun loving Kona are my binge watching treat this month.

You have added a new phrase to my vocabulary: Hutterite Clean! When I want something cleaned so well I can serve food on it, I now say it has to be Hutterite clean! And one of my areas of interest is religion (particularly Christian) so this vlog has become one of my favorites in a short time! I'm happy you were obedient and decided to share your love for Jesus with us,especially when I know the negative Nellies wanna come out and steal your joy
Watching your fall cleaning has me inspired to do a deep fall cleaning.
I find the deep cleaning videos so inspiring. It makes me want to tear my whole kitchen part and scrub it down. I just find it so therapeutic and and good for my soul and I do this. Thank you for your amazing videos. I find your way of life so calming.
I live in southern Alberta and we have many Hutterite colonies around us and see them in and around our city and especially at the farmers markets. Love the fresh produce from the colonies.
Congratulations Hannah. I think it's wonderful that you were called to share your life as a Hutterite. I had heard of Hutterites but I fall into the "not making assumptions about a religion that I do not practice" category. We raised our children to make decisions regarding religion that were informed. We did things like send them to religious classes from the various religions around us so that they had the information they needed to make that decision when they were ready. We have children who are all over the religious map and love each and every one of them (we have 19 - 16 are adopted).
oh wow our biggest family on our colony has 8 members 😊
One my daughter would be in heaven with all those beets. Two I wish I could hire a team of you to clean my home!
Some hutterite colony's do clean homes if you call and ask!
Oh.... The team would walk in my house, turn and walk right back out again! They would be appalled! They'd have to go and fetch a couple other colonies to help! 😆

Been waiting on this blog all day long! I am awaiting more adventures with Kona! Also, Kona is greeting the person she meets when she stretches! It’s also a sign of her wanting to play with other humans or dogs. My dog does this as well!

When my dog stretches himself before doing something, it's very clear that he doesn't really want to participate in whatever I have in mind but he's doing it anyway.

About why dogs stretch...my brother’s dog does that too and I think I read that it means the dog wants to play. His dog is part German shepherd.

I really enjoy your videos. Not only does it teach me about your way of life, that I knew absolutely nothing about, but it's very inspiring to me to remember to rejoice in God's love. Kona is so sweet. She is stretching to show she is welcoming a loving pat or scratch from a friend. My dog did this too. He also always watched my eyes and it took a while before I realized he could tell if I was even a little nervous about a stranger and would immediately stand between us. No stretching for that person!
There is something i feel the need to rant a bit about: Safety. The number one reason for bad household accidents is falling from stair or ladders, especially from things used as ladders which are unsuitable for it. Always use a proper ladder, never something with wheels, like an office chair or a serving trolley (4:44😨). Please be safe, i really dont want to see you get hurt!😟

Bowing down with the front paws is a way that dogs signal to each other (and their humans) they they are non-threatening and are ready to play. It an also be a sign of submission to a larger or more aggressive dog, a way of saying “I’m not a threat I’m a friendly dog, be kind to me ‘.

I literally been checking RUclips every few minutes for your video, and right after supper there it was! You can’t imagine the Joy I get when these videos appear! Thank you for blessing us! Saffy stretches, but I never put the meeting and stretching together. Now I am curious!
Regarding Kona stretching before people pet her, from the internet: "This is what is called the greeting stretch, and it's a posture dogs use towards someone they feel comfortable with."
It's similar to the "play bow" (like when you bow before someone, not a bow in a ribbon), where a dog puts their front legs almost flat on the ground with their bum up in the air when they want to play with another dog :-)
Kona is saying "Hello!! I know you AND I like you! Would you like to pet me? OK!! Here I am!!!"
So it's all good and happy :-) :-)

Question, would you show us what you were sliding around on when you were washing ceilings and walls . It seems like something I need in my life being a short person !
